I turned 40 in May, celebrate the milestone and happy birthday!

I joined in 2002 and before that was on nancies.org and dreamingtree.org. Amazing how 20 years later I'm still here.

Re: how many 'old timer' Ants left on the boards?

I feel like there's a very good chance I had an older account in the early 2000s. Definitely attached to an email I no longer use. After 15+ years of DMB fandom I dropped off in 2015 only to return at the start of the pandemic, going down memory lane and kind of a nostalgia thing for me. Fortunately, my brother and a friend kept at it over the years and so they were able fill me in on what I missed with the band in that little hiatus. I opened this account last summer and then forgot about it until a few weeks ago! It's been great getting back into it...a little overwhelming trying to navigate the site at first but here we are!

When I think back to the early days, it was many nights sitting on AOL message boards AMDM haha. Whew, that sure brings me back. Ended up going to the Dave & Friends show with a guy I met on there - he was in Chicago and needed a ride to the show at Allstate Arena due to his vision impairment and hooked me up with a ticket in return. Haven't thought about that in years until now!!

Had a great time @ SPAC this weekend.
Not the same without legendary Ants contributor Ed Coombs who is very much missed.
