Re: how many 'old timer' Ants left on the boards?

Hard to believe I joined in '03. Those were the days...i was deep into the Dave and Tim tour recordings from that year, loved Some Devil, and caught a killer show with an old school setlist in Little Rock for my first DMB show.

    Lurking ever since.

Re: how many 'old timer' Ants left on the boards?

Joined when I was 15 and I'm turning 29 this year. It's not 02, but it blows my mind I've been here for this long.

Lurked for a year or so before that. I THINK them releasing the Funny single made me sign up to talk about it. Seems like May 2009 was right around that time.

    Former Nancies.org person, myself.

Started 'lurking' in '99. Obviously joined in 2003.

Still lurking away. Still check the setlists daily-ish in the summer.

When the Gorge IG post went up about an alternate format I was on the boards that whole night like I was back in high school.

Using this name on Ants since 2006, but was on this and a half dozen others a long time before that.

June 2006 was when I joined. I know I posted on Nancies.org for awhile before that. My first show was 6/19/2000, and I’ve been a massive fan ever since! I liked DMB in the 90’s but didn’t know much beyond the hits. At this point I’d still say I’m pretty old school.

I remember DMBML. Got into Dave in 1999. Napster opened up a treasure chest of DMB and DM & TR music for me. I was on Weekly Dave Speak before coming here. Didn’t go to a concert until 2008 though. Roi was still alive but it was after his accident. Dave told us at the venue that he would be alright and back on the road again.

Also a lurker for years prior to finally joining, counting myself among the oldies. But mostly because I pulled my back in my sleep again last night.

Never been a big poster but come and check the site weekly as my guilty pleasure. My days of seeing DMB shows are in the rear view mirror unless they throw in some intimate shows.

This past December I threw out 300 cds of live dmb shows. All are now online and can be stored on a single hard drive.

Visit here and there but not daily like the first years after I joined. Kids and life change things, I joined when I was single so I was here all the time. Glad AM is able to share the tapers show, still love them over official releases due to the raw material you heard from the crowd.

Officially moved over from Nancies in 2005, had been lurking here for a year or so before as Nancies had just become very inactive.

    2004 here
Been a fan since before the beginning.
Funny story, my cousin lived in Virginia and would go see them at the bars before they where big. I often wonder how many of those fans the band would remember if they talked to them today.

Can't say that I'm the most active poster, but I've just checked and saw that I've been a member of the board since 2002! There were definitely some years when I was less closely monitoring the forum, but I always came back at least occasionally.
