Lover got played instead of Space Between. Encore was Time Bomb into Why I Am and they flipped it.

My guess is since Dave sang time bomb in two step maybe he thought it would look bad to sing the exact same thing twice in a row.

Regardless this is the worst set in decades. They should be embarrassed of this one.

Couple of odd placements in the set but the performance was top notch and their energy was high. Clearly the guys are having fun, love playing together and it comes across when you are in person. I had a great time and enjoyed myself which is what matters.

One sweet world as good, sweet is much better with Buddy, Crush was AMAZING, Granny is a classic, Nancies/Warehouse is classic too, Jimmy thing is a favorite then a Two Step closer?! I love Why I am and agree Time Bomb is an odd closer on paper and they were rusty but it worked.

I agree about the odd placements and flow, but I really enjoyed being at this show. Band sounded great and the crowd was awesome. The opening 8 or so songs needed a hit to break up the funk but overall I thought it was way better than 2021 Charlotte.

Time concerns? Hit the Why I Am and said we have enough time for 1 more? Idk.
They started way later at Charlotte than any show of the tour so far. Like 15-20 mins later.

Maybe was this but also at 7:40 the sun was directly on the stage and would have been in Dave’s eyes. This is also the same time the put the heat shield on Carter’s kit so I assumed the delay was to let the sun set. Clearly they did not hold back with 22 songs!

I would be dissapointed with that setlist and if these continue I may cut back on some shows but certainly not the worst set since 05.

I wouldn't buy that show or anything, but to say it's the worst show in 7 years is a big stretch. Parts of it I really liked. I actually thought Funny as an opener was refreshing. But the next run of songs was way too slow. Time Bomb didn't work as a closer, but I appreciate Dave tried to surprise the crowd like that. The latter half of the show was excellent, even Jimi Thing, best version in a long time.

Not 7 years, 17 years. I stand by my statement. That is a miserable set.

Definitely not a great set but not the worst IMO questionable song placement for sure. Would rather have had the old school Time Bomb into Two Step and then Dave could have added one of the other songs (Grace, Granny or Break For It) to the E1 slot and I think there would be less complaints. On a positive note it was a great Two Step so that was worth the price of admission for me. Would have liked to have had She cut for Break Free.

Also, I thought it was interesting that Monk was tuning the Veilette guitar during the beginning part of the set so I was certain that we were going to see Idea of You and/or Shotgun make an appearance, but clearly they weren't on the set. Why would he do that if Dave's not going to use it during the show?

On to Charleston and Raleigh!

Was so bad Dave got heckled by a fan. Dave's voice was gone. I got my first and only #40, so it gets points for that. But not enough to save it.

Per usual, I agree with Bruce. I was flat out bored during Charlotte’s show last year. So many BW tunes, some even back to back to back.

Interesting and I don’t disagree but while it was BW heavy (6) it was spread out. I enjoyed it but it was my lowest rated show on the opening leg - again, due to being BW heavy. I just wish Dave hated BW as much as he hated AFTW.

I've missed Dreaming Tree by one show at least 5 times it seems. The one time they've played it in NC in the past 20 years I was on my honeymoon (2007). Oh well.

Also was disappointed we didn't get Madman's Eyes. Really like that new tune and thought it was a given it would be played.

I was underwhelmed by the setlist, but didn't let that affect me from having a good time.

Definitely enough highlights to save the show from the duds. Charlotte's my home show, and I always see people say Charlotte gets awesome sets. But I've been underwhelmed for at least the last three. Might skip next year and do Atlanta instead. They seem to be getting more memorable songs recently.

Wow I thought 2021 Charlotte was much better than Raleigh. Seek Up was the first song cut from the 2019 setlist and it opened in 2021. When the World Ends lib, Sweet Up and Down, You Never Know (!), Where Are You Going, Raven, If Only lib, a huge DDTW in the encore. Absolutely loved that show.

Man I live in Atlanta and go to Charlotte every year because the sets are always great haha. 2018, 2019, 2021 were just so, so good to me.
