The point is valid that they don't need the money, but I do think those numbers are odd. Jeff only worth $2m? How? He's played like 750 shows with the band. He's been on three albums. That number seems wildly low.

But as to them not needing the money, that clearly didn't stop them from forcing an album before.

How is no one talking about how those completely made up net worth stats have Rashawn Ross as having a 9 figure net worth, more that Stefan?!?!? . His Crash Into Me royalties ALONE are probably worth more than Rashawn. On what planet is Rashawn Ross worth ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS?!?!?

I have no idea how accurate that number is, but Ross has had a pretty prolific career. He's a very accomplished studio sessions musician and he has credits on songs with some big names.

I have no clue what I would do if I had a worth of 7+ digits and a steady job as a touring musician, regardless of how complicated work became, because I'm not in that position. Lots of folks like playing make believe, but I really don't see the point.

And I still don't know why the net worth of any of these people matter.

Definitely not of interest to me, just a thought on that DMB has been successful enough to turn down massive potential earnings. So many things are more important than money, but having earned a ton certainly makes it easier to enjoy all of those other things.

One of my favorite interview clips from 2018 was the 60 minutes or Sunday Morning interview when the interviewer points out that the band had given/donated $40 million to charity and Dave does a double take of “WHAT!” As he turns around as if looking for someone to yell at.

More than the money we know LOVES to play. By all accounts 2017 was supposed to be a year off for DMB w/ the D&T tour just the short European run. Dave then decided to do more & they added 18 U.S. dates. Not something they had to do, but Dave wanted to and so he did. Made himself, Tim, & the crew some extra scratch in the process…but it really seems that D&T brought him a ton of joy that year.

I did meet Rashawn on the rental car shuttle at the WPB airport. I know if I were worth $100M, there's no way I would have been on that awful shuttle.

Im not trying to disrespect Rashawn at all, I completely understand that he's played with the likes of Lady Gaga and has had a great career, but the list of musicians who are worth 9 figures is probably very low. I don't think he's on it.

The could’ve then released (dare I even suggest it) ANOTHER album in 2023.

We know they have plenty of new - old archival material and Dave is ALWAYS writing. Add Fonz writing, the stuff that comes from when they jam, the band group writes…

They should just release and play more stuff.

According to some here, they haven’t been DMB since:
- Dave worked w/ Ballard
- they aren’t working w/ Lillywhite
- butch left
- Roi died
- they tried working w/ Lillywhite again
- Boyd left
- buddy arrived

And there are other reasons too. As such, since they are already not DMB they should go 100% and start releasing more music on a regular basis…who’s with me?!?!?!??!!

Hated the song initially then heard it at the gorge sans carter and fonz and loved it from then forward. Heard it last night and loved it as well.

I will say I was at Creekend and Alpine and there was a chick with a light up butterfly that dave acknowledged at both venues. During N1 he said "maybe I will play something for you later". So I am not 100% sure if they were going to bring it out again anyway or if it was a nod to the butterfly chick. But I am all for it being in rotation and on the album.
