Originally spelled "Ayhee" on dmband.com setlists and on the setlist for 5.12.06, the spelling had been changed to "Eh Hee" as of 4.22.07.

Eh Hee debuted on the 2006 Dave and Friends cruise. Dave played it by himself a few months later before retiring it (save a couple of teases) for almost a year, when he played it with Tim on 4.22.07. It appeared again on 8.18.07 as a full DMB song.

A studio version of the song was released, with an accompanying music video, on iTunes on 9.4.07, with all of the instruments played by Dave.

Along with The Long Black Veil, The Maker, Gravedigger, So Damn Lucky, and Stay or Leave, this is one of just six songs that have been played by DMB, Dave & Tim, Dave & Friends, and Dave solo.

They main reason is because most bands lose their balance, the members aren't equals any more. One person or persons are above the others. No one can challenge that person anymore. And they worst part is, they don't even realize what they're making now is shit."

What are the reason for Bono saying that? Was he implying that towards any band in particular? I do agree with what he says though.

They were asked the question of why U2 has been able to stay together as the same band for so long, and how their creative process works. He said it mainly worked because they truly see each other as brothers and equals, and that every voice in the room is as loud as the other, and every opinion is accepted, and every idea is attempted.

He was applying that to just most bands in general who lose their plot.

I've always been far more fascinated as to what would have happened if Ballard had just cleaned everything up like he was supposed to. THAT would have been interesting IMO.

The chords are completely original in the Nature intro, the name "Nature intro" just stuck.

edit: via DMBAlmanac - "Dave used to sing some lyrics from "Nature" before Tripping Billies overtop of some chords based around Tripping Billies. For this reason, this intro is known as the "Nature intro" even though it is instrumental now and therefore has no connection to the Samples song."

Number of times Shake Me Like a Monkey has been played as a set closer or encore closer since 6.12.09 - 46 times (18 as a main set closer, 28 as an encore closer)

That's just a bit shy of how many times The Dreaming Tree (22), Cry Freedom (14), and The Last Stop (12), have made any sort of appearance since 6.12.09 - 48 times.
