Really? They're not my favorite, but I've seen them twice (2015 and 2017) and thought they put on a good show. Definitely seemed like the guys were having a good time on stage.

But, IMO, they have about 1 shows worth of songs, so I definitely wouldn't follow them around or catch multiple shows on a tour

I just don't understand why they'd go through the pain of mastering (even if it's a shit master) to press just 300 copies and put it on picture discs.

Granted, the source recordings for those aren't great, but still...

I've seen OAR once, and they were fun, but one was probably enough. The highlight of that show was the college blues band that opened for them.

I'd still buy these albums for $20 a pop if they were on black vinyl and easily available.

Saw oar a few times in 2004. They were real good then. Not so much now. I would buy most of there studio albums and a few live ones from the early days if they were properly released.

As someone who actually likes O.A.R. (I know) this release is ridiculous. These albums were recorded horribly. The Wanderer was recorded while they were still in high school. Remastered? Are you kidding me? They'd mentioned doing full a full re-recording of these albums which I would happily pay for, but to press this on a picture disc and charge that price for it is insane.

What a waste of a release.

I use a Pioneer SX-650 paired with a pair of original Pioneer HPM-100's. I've got a pair of HPM-40's to use as rears as well, but my current space/setup just doesn't have a good spot for them. Sounds fabulous as they were really built to be paired together.

The HPM-100's are some of my favorite speakers ever made, absolutely perfect for big rock music. I had a set of custom steel speaker stands made for them by this guy:

    http://www.aandmcustomsteelspeakerstands.com/

And they are amazing. Noticed a HUGE sonic difference when I got those 60 lb beasts up off the floor and on the stands at a nice angle.

I love your Marantz - IMO for vintage it is tough to beat the mid-late 70's Pioneer silver face SX series (super jealous of the poster here that has the SX-1050) and Marantz 2200 series receivers.

Wouldn't be surprising! They were really popular around that era. That's where I got mine too - they were my dad's and our main speakers in the house for most of my childhood. Eventually he downsized stuff and I took them, I had them in storage in the original boxes for years when I was living in apartments, never had the space and when we bought our current house a few years ago, I finally had a space big enough to unleash them.

Alright, everyone, sleeve suggestions? I know they've been covered a bunch in here but searching (as you can probably imagine) brings up an absurd amount of results.

Do you guy all typically do both inner and outer sleeves?

I'm looking for some for just normal LPs as well as some box sets (like the LTs, etc.).

For inners I go with the MoFi sleeves. Outers I go with Sleeve City Ultimate 2.5 outers. They also have box set ones that work great for the LT series.

Spinning echoes by Petty for the first time on vinyl. Great album, sounds much better than the CDs, from what I recall.

Nothing really vintage in my set up, but...

    Rega P3 with Elys cart
U-Turn Pluto preamp (perhaps my next upgrade even though I just got it)
    Pioneer VSX1022 receiver
    Polk Signature Audio S55 speakers
