LOL my son's first game was canceled in 2020 due to a pandemic. Now it may get canceled (likely won't) in 2022 due to a lockout. I guess this is the universe telling him he should not become a Phillies fan

Fielding was an issue but settling on players at the level they have been and trying to piece things together cheaply like Tampa is not cool when you're the Boston Red Sox, not to mention it's proven to not win

It appears I'm not the one saying the Red Sox have a blueprint for success when they've been relevant for one of the last three years and have been a bottom tier team for roughly half of the last decade, now making small market moves proven to not win. Not only do they not have a blueprint, they have shown no consistent plan.

Dude, I'm not going to rehash an argument that, frankly, I won. As simply put as possible, we have different understandings of what success is. Success, to me, means championships. Plain and simple. For you, it's to be to more competitive on a yearly basis, while not spiting your farm, even if it means less championships.
