Different scenario. Heather wasn’t harassing that guy(probably) and he probably wanted to drive into them. But if I am driving my car peacefully and that happens I have no problem taking my chances standing my ground.

You do not have the right to threaten my property and security. You don’t. You do not get to tell me what street I can drive on. You do not get to try to damage my property when I continue on the way.

White privilege doesn't mean no matter the circumstance. It's about situational comparativeness and it can be superseded because human beings are great at being assholes. There are plenty of other factors that play into the different biases we as humans have towards one another, and they can certainly trump being white. Your obvious thorough disdain for poor people, for example. In your wonky idea of white privilege that shouldn't be an issue, but it obviously often is because people tend to look down on poor people. Same with people being overweight. Same with maybe how people dress, like some goth kid or something. Same with being gay.

White privilege basically just says we, as white men, are granted the benefit of the doubt way more often and to a ridiculously higher degree than anyone else. If you don't agree with this you're either lying to avoid reality or you should heed your own advice and get out more.

You're arguing something completely different and irrelevant to my point.

It doesn't matter WHY people are bias or critical, the point is they can be. There's been numerous studies done about overweight people in professional office settings; in hiring, salaries, etc, and there's definitely evidence of discrimination, however unconscious it may often be.

Which is all to say, people understand that white privilege certainly has it's limit when there's another deep bias on the table.
