I would recommend Fritz The Cat, but they removed that from the instant. Thats a hilarious satirical cartoon movie on life in the 60s. Sex, drugs, race, free love.

Also the first X-rated animation in the US.

When I was working at the video rental store in the mid 90's, we had a period where we had an "employee wall", each of us got to put together a shelf of movie recs for customers. I remember my slightly older manager went for a bunch of obvious stuff (half of Spielberg's resume, Star Wars, etc), but Sneakers was one of the ones I put up.

some awesome new docs on netflix....

Milius - Influential and controversial filmmaker John Milius worked on prominent films such as Apocalypse Now and Jaws before being ostracized by Hollywood.

Rising from Ashes - This film follows Rwanda's first national cycling team as they struggle to move past their country's horrific genocide and make it to the 2012 Olympics. Coached by cycling legend Jock Boyer, the eclectic group fights against huge obstacles.

Metallica Through the Never - Veteran heavy metal band Metallica is captured live in this spectacular concert film, highlighted by a staged accident involving a crew member.

Unsung Hero- Does size matter? It did to Patrick Moote's girlfriend, whose very public rejection of his proposal led him to create this eye-opening documentary

1976: Hunt vs Lauda James Hunt has never been equalled. Could swashbuckling Hunt catch the scientific Lauda? Could Niki overcome an appalling crash to come back from the dead and fight James all the way to the last race of the season?

Kiss the Water: This lyrical documentary tells the story of fishing fly-maker Megan Boyd, whose flies have been used by Prince Charles and collected as folk art.

Deceptive Practice: With wit and charm -- and lots of rare footage -- legendary illusionist Ricky Jay reveals his influences and offers insight into a secretive world.

Jedi Junkies- This admiring documentary profiles some of the creative fan projects inspired by the visionary technologies, characters and themes of Star Wars.

The film was directed by Chapman Way and Maclain Way, grandsons of Russell.[1]

The film features Russell's son Kurt Russell, who played for the Mavericks and worked as a vice president.[2] The film also features Todd Field, who was a batboy for the Mavericks, Frank “The Flake” Peters, Joe Garza, Jim Bouton, and Joe Garagiola.[3][4] The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2014.[5] The film premiered on Netflix on July 11, 2014.[6]

I watched BoJack Horseman over this past weekend. Pretty solid for being a weird show premise, but I'll always check out anything Will Arnett is doing voice work for. The opening credits music/sequence is wonderful.

i've been enjoying this. it's not great, but it certainly has a lot more good than bad. and i think it will be better on second viewing. there are a lot of sight gags, too, that i am sure i missed.

i knew i liked the show when i actually felt bad for princess caroline at the end of the one episode that kind of focused on her.
