I would recommend Fritz The Cat, but they removed that from the instant. Thats a hilarious satirical cartoon movie on life in the 60s. Sex, drugs, race, free love.

Also the first X-rated animation in the US.

When I was working at the video rental store in the mid 90's, we had a period where we had an "employee wall", each of us got to put together a shelf of movie recs for customers. I remember my slightly older manager went for a bunch of obvious stuff (half of Spielberg's resume, Star Wars, etc), but Sneakers was one of the ones I put up.

Battered Bastards of Baseball....

is a 2014 documentary film about the Portland Mavericks, a defunct Minor League Baseball team which operated from 1973 through 1977. Owned by actor Bing Russell, the Mavericks were independent of Major League Baseball (MLB) teams, despite competing in a league of teams with MLB affiliates. The film was directed by Chapman Way and Maclain Way, grandsons of Russell.[1]

The film features Russell's son Kurt Russell, who played for the Mavericks and worked as a vice president.[2] The film also features Todd Field, who was a batboy for the Mavericks, Frank “The Flake” Peters, Joe Garza, Jim Bouton, and Joe Garagiola.[3][4] The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2014.[5] The film premiered on Netflix on July 11, 2014.[6]

I watched BoJack Horseman over this past weekend. Pretty solid for being a weird show premise, but I'll always check out anything Will Arnett is doing voice work for. The opening credits music/sequence is wonderful.

i've been enjoying this. it's not great, but it certainly has a lot more good than bad. and i think it will be better on second viewing. there are a lot of sight gags, too, that i am sure i missed.

i knew i liked the show when i actually felt bad for princess caroline at the end of the one episode that kind of focused on her.
