Buddy’s caption and post mentioned that this week had been very emotionally heavy and challenging for him “especially yesterday” just curious if this has anything to do with his relationship with the band and maybe I missed something?

It could be all the events that's been happening in the past week.. with the verdict, other police shootings, etc.

If it's his personal account and not his professional one, I hope all is well. Sounds like maybe family/friend related issue.. I doubt it's anything with the band. He seems happy as pie up there and so do the rest of the band. I would imagine if he needed anything they'd happily accommodate. He's a huge part of the new sound and Dave seems to rely on him as much as any of the other members now.

It's kind of crazy. I didn't quite understand how they replaced Boyd so quickly and with a completely different sound, but his personality had to be a huge factor along with the fact he can play just about anything on the keys. He knows when to sound big and loud and when to just fill in the gaps with ambient sound... 2019 was a big year in terms of growth for him. He settled right in.
