I've had enough meltdowns. This Spurs team, with all its flaws and annoyances, gave me another 6 months of great basketball this season. The ride was short, but damn it was sweet.

There were three ends to this era the past three years, and they managed to extend it. Thanks for everything Pop, Tim, Tony, Manu, Gary, George, Matt. I will reserve my harsh words for the summer.

That series will be great. Potentially monstrous offensively, but should be rugged.

Randolph was put in a lose-lose situation when he was in NY. He played GREAT for us. He was playing for an idiot head coach with a terrible team fully knowing he wasn't part of the team's future. I'm happy he's proving to be a legitimate star right now.

The Spurs, from top to bottom, are the leading example for what you want in a basketball organization.

I remember they were around .500 when he got traded. It was the year before Lebron's last year. Glad it all worked out for us in the end

I do too. The Hawks are now playing with some confidence. No one gave them a chance against the Magic. If they can keep it going, watch out.

The Grizzlies are so likable. I mean, Allen and Z-Bo made Doris Burke tolerable with their post-game interviews. I know it was a 1/8 matchup, but they seemed like the better team for the entire series.

I love seeing what Randolph has turned into. He's always had all the talent in the world, and now he's finally got his head screwed onto his shoulders. I'd take him over Amare in a heartbeat. I've got a feeling eight years from now Demarcus Cousins will be on his fourth NBA team and we'll be saying the same things about him.

You and me both. Randolph through the second half of the season and playoffs has looked like Amar'e through the first half of the season. I'll go with the guy that gets BETTER, thank you very much.

Gasol/Randolph going up against Bynum/Gasol would be a ton of fun to watch in the Conference Finals.

I read an article by Haberstroh yesterday where he graded out a bunch of guys both offensively and defensively. Randolph was in the 90s offensive and 60s defensively, while Amare's split was 90s/10s. And then you've got the knee risk. And then you've got the point you just made.

    LeBron's ratings were 100/97 ... just dirty.

Whether Timmy retires, that's his decision. But he's our defensive anchor...we just don't want him back, we need him back if just for that.

You say you don't watch most of the season anyway so what does it really matter to you?

More of my offseason recommendations that I posted on another forum:

Get rid of Pop, but that's not happening.

Get rid of RJ, but that's not happening with his contract.

    Manu isn't going anywhere.

Tony is expendable, if it's for great pieces I'm all for a trade.

    Splitter and Neal stay.

Daniel Green and James Anderson stay as projects.

Goodbye Bonner, goodbye Hill, goodbye Blair.

Get about 5 new guys with some toughness, moxy, interior presence. They'll put another 50 game season up. Probably done contending, but it's been 13 great years, can't give up on this front office now.

But they've yet to match up with post-trade OKC and its increased interior toughness and depth. All 3 of those losses were two possession games or less.

Westbrook needs to exploit his matchup with Conley now that he doesn't have to chase Ty Lawson around. He's going to have to step up his game.
