    What's everyone's favorite Dead cover?
Mine is El Paso...followed very closely by Good Lovin'.
The drums in the middle of Good Lovin' are mindblowing.

Has anyone here have "The Golden Road" box set? I'm thinking about getting it and am wondering if it is worth it.

    Re: Official Grateful Dead Thread

I have it. Got it for Christmas about 5 years ago...when it first came out, I guess.
It's a must have for hardcore Dead fans.
A LOT of unreleased material on there.
The earlier stuff (Birth of the Dead - from the Scorpio Records days) is my favorite - really cool...very Beatles-sounding. Some nice covers, as well as original Dead material.
Definitely worth it if you love the Dead.
