in that case BFFT doesnt have any business playing in a place like that...the venue never should have booked them. they belong outdoors only

you can bet it's gonna be a great show, i think they will keep debuting some great tunes, especially right after their close to one month break. I think the Sojourn debut had something to do with me asking for it. I think I asked their manager for it, and it debuted a few days later! (no way to be sure though)

I think so too, but it's not very likely 5,000 people would turn up to see them in October in Buffalo if they played outside Brrr... :

Yah that was a nice debut and its great that New South Africa is in rotation now. I'm debating whether to go to another show next month in PA.

I wish. I'm down in school in Maryland and I just can't make the trip. And looking at it I don't think I'll see them in PA. It's not worth driving the distance to see them by myself.

The energy is still there but its great to see everyone sit down and enjoy it. Remember lots of adults don't dance, they yell at the younger ones for standing up. Saw that a lot during the APT @ Merriweather.

Although I loved standing up and "dancing" along to the music @ Merriweather :P

As many times as I would have loved it, I have never gotten any sexual pleasure after a Dave concert. That just sucks.

To answer your question, probably does turn on some people, but I can't see into their bedrooms after the show

P.S. I'd also like to give props to the band for bringin' out Zenergy, New South Africa and Sojourn Of Arjuna over the past few weeks...FINALLY!!!
You are wrong my friend, this 41 year old did plenty of dancing and screaming the nights I have seen them.

I have to disagree, he/they can go both ways. This is where you get to here some of his classical stuff that is amazing.

ok, have you been to a BFFT concert indoors? if you have, and people were dancing and stood up, you are one lucky girl, because @ my concert, it was a really boring crowd, just my experience, im not talking for anyone else.

No I haven't been to one indoors, but I think I would be willing to experience it both ways. I guess it is the generalization that bothers me. Maybe if you had started it, more would have been more comfortable to follow suit. I was at the ballet not too long ago, The Bruce Wood Dance Co. They did this really great piece to a bunch of Lyle Lovett music and the end was really kicking, I stood up and started clapping to the music and before you know the whole theatre was. Sometimes it just takes one person to get it started.

well, clapping is one thing, people clapped at my concert after solos and at the end of songs, but i just wish the atmosphere was more rock-like. it''s just me, i like to go crazy to music, no matter that type.

I was at Princeton tonight for the show. I got to meet all the flecktones after the show. The good word straight from Bela's mouth is that the flecktones are just taking a break. He also said they are working on a new album and is not ready to talk about it yet.

What's upsetting is that the setlists after the APT are bring back lots of older stuff. Shame I can't make it to any more shows, unless they add more in december.
