Did anyone watch? I'd say after 12 years of television, the payoff was not too shabby. I'm so happy we got to see Rick Grimes one last time. I figured there was either only 1 or 2 outcomes, but I will not be investing my time in the Rick/Michonne spinoff / Walking Dead Multi-verse.

Kind of enjoyed this last part of the season - Negan became my favorite character

Stopped watching a while ago, but I'm glad it seemed to have ended on a high note. This show did rock for the longest time. I just grew tired of it. Maybe I'll revisit down the road.

It just became a video game, get to the next level, kill the big bad, get to the next level, kill the big bad, get to the next level, kill the big bad, and so on, and so on, and so on.

If you’re going to do that, there has to be something else that invests poeple, and they just weren’t able to pull that off. Hell, even go LOST on the show and provide context to motivation via flashback to before Walker times for the characters. I know they did it on occasion, but it wasn’t used as a consistent narrative device.

It just became stale after so long, but I agree that it was a fantastic show for a while. I still haven’t bought into the whole million spin offs idea but we’ll see I guess.

So many different story lines, characters who's names we don't know, a "final boss" who was nowhere near as compelling as Nega, Gareth, or the Gov, AAAAAANNNNNDDDD knowing that Daryl, Rick, Michonee, Negan, etc all survive for the purpose of spinoffs. The show meandered for 4ish seasons too long

The show peaked at Terminus (should've had more Terminus episodes). Don't regret watching the show to the end, though.

Terminus was by far the best short arc they had. Rick throwing the train door open while shooting his AK-47 (?) was the most bad ass scene in the whole series imo


I just wish they did some more exploration...the CDC was cool and could have been3-4 episodes. I thought 11 seasons in the woods was just too much

Thanks to Netflix I just binged the last season. What a steaming meandering pile of garbage that was. I ditto pretty much everything that has been said here.

I am amazed they are making so many spin offs, I cannot imagine the viewership will be very high. I watched the last season only since I had been watching since the beginning, but will have no interest in watching any of the new ones.

My biggest take away is they completely abandoned what made the show great, character development and a good pacing.
