Re: ***Labor Day Weekend at the Gorge 2021***

in the case of breast milk, it freezing would be ideal, but I dunno, Bruce--the effort involved in trying to keep it fresh in camping conditions and getting it all the way back home just seems like maybe too much. granted, I totally understand the emotions that pump-n-dump causes, but I think it's really for the best. and isn't she gonna have to pump-n-dump regardless after she's been drinking?

Probably car is your best bet. I know there are portable battery operated pumps or you could probably find a power inverter for a cigarette lighter and just verify it has proper rating to run the pump. You can always just turn the car on whenever pumping is needed.

My wife pumped at one show (2018 Columbus) and I won a charity auction from Bama works to get lounge passes so she'd have a nicer bathroom to pump in before/during the show (she had a battery powered pump for travel). Not sure if Bama works is doing those auctions again this year but that might be something to watch (though I'd imagine winning Gorge will require a lot of $$$). The Gorge venue might also have a private location to pump at for the show - those are becoming more and more commonplace. I'd suggest giving them a call to ask about it (and verify you can bring in the equipment).

I can also verify you are 100% good bringing milk through airport security. We did that several times.

This may be a hair-brained scheme as I don't know how popular your podcast is, but would you consider approaching a car/truck dealership for a barter deal to rent a car in exchange for plugging them on your show? Worth a shot.

While we aren’t bottom of the barrel in terms of listenership, e certainly don’t carry that sort of clout. That would be badass though lol

And thanks to everyone who has responded with suggestions so far. I really appreciate it

I’m starting to get worried about my Terrace camping tix. I bought them from TM and it says my phone is my ticket, yet there is no barcode and transfer and sell are grayed out. It also says “There is a delivery delay on this event. Please check the Event Detail Page for information on when the delay will be lifted. Once the delay has been lifted, your tickets will be available via your selected delivery method.” I checked the event detail page and there is no information on when the delay will be lifted. The tix were $700 and I don’t want to get there with no barcode and be denied entry. I emailed TM at the beginning of May and haven’t heard back. I called and the message says phone customer service is not available. I tried chat and it says chat is not available. Is anyone else having this problem? What do I do? My reserved seats have a barcode but not camping.

I can see my Terrace barcode on my phone in the TM app, and transfer/sell are both blacked out. Luckily there's 2 months to get this straight. I don't see the shipping delay, purchased it as MOBILE back in FEB 2020, so mine's good.

yeah-- barcode popped up here recently too-- and i can save it to my phone. however-- i do not like the no resell/transfer option. If we decide to stay somewhere else- we essentially have to meet someone for a sale and download it to their phone... really interested to hear if anyone has figured out how to transfer these.

One person in our group had an early morning Seattle flight on Monday in 2008 so we drove back to Seattle after the show straight to the airport. It was absolutely miserable. We were all exhausted after three days of shows and nothing was open to stop for much of the trip.

If you want to do it I'd be sure to plan ahead. Have coffee/energy drinks, make sure your gas tank is full, have someone other than the driver sober to keep them company and ensure they remain awake, etc. It's an absolute grind.

Definitely won't put you in Seattle at 3 a.m., it's only 2 hours from the Gorge, if you leave right after the show you'll be in around 1 a.m., which, actually, still really sucks.

I may end up having to give up these shows. If so I'm trying to do a trade of my Gorge pit single N1 and pit pair N2 for something similar for Denver. Shoot me a message if you have any options!

How hard is it to get a Gold camping pass for an RV assuming you get on it right away? (Warehouse presale) I'm assuming you would request it at the same time as your tickets but next year will be my first go around with this so I'm just curious. Does TM sell them as well if you miss out through Warehouse?

Much easier to get from Ticketmaster. With Warehouse there is no "assuming you get on it right away"...you put in your request anytime during a 2-week period. Now, if they pop up later on Instants you might get lucky "getting on it right away"

Has anyone every purchased "Club" access at one of the shows? Is it worth the $85? I see the option on LiveNation... seems like it *might* be worth the price. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with it.

This is my first and likely only time going to The Gorge... want to have the best possible time.

Disclaimer: I'm not going to a DMB show there, will actually be going to see Tame Impala the following weekend. But, this question could help another DMB fan.

Are there flush toilets in Club or just porta potties with shorter lines?

Not sure if this is allowed, so mod please remove if not. Was planning to go with my dad and family this year. Dads cancer radiation treatments won’t be done in time , so selling two pairs of reserved seats for N3. He got shut out working during hurricane coverage in 2019, 2020 covid and now this Year with cancer treatment. We vow to take dad next year to his ultimate bucket list venue for the band that we all so love.

    FS: FOUR TICKETS, N3

Two seats together, section 205, row 6

Two seats together, section 204, row 16
