I haven't done the basketball HOF in quite a while, it looks like a lot of fun and I wouldn't want to be pressured to get there when it opens or to leave at a specified time.
To each their own, but I'd recommend doing either one on their own days.

Thanks. If I would have more time I'd certainly consider spending a whole day at either of them. As it is, I would probably be flying in to Albany early afternoon on Friday, then fly out Sunday afternoon.
Similar to what I did in 2016 where I hit the two OH shows. After staying in Cincy on Friday night after Riverbend, Saturday morning drove the 4 hours up to Cleveland and spent the afternoon at the Rock & Roll HOF before Blossom...stayed in Akron that night. Sunday morning got up early and drove down to Canton to see the Pro Football HOF for a couple of hours before driving back to Cleveland to fly home. Whirlwind weekend for sure, and I can't say the time spent at either HOF was quality time, but I did hit the highlights.
I'm not much of a DMB tailgater (unless it's the Gorge where you kinda are by definition!), so I'm good with getting to a city, doing a couple of quick touristy things, seeing the shows, and then getting back home.
