Been watching it in full while going about my Sunday around the house business lol, gotta have a source on the inside..this is the video monitor feed as far as I can tell. Don’t know where else he’d get it beside someone on the crew.

Really cool stuff hopefully there’s more of it to come

So I read that there are a bunch of different acts who performed at SPAC who have their proshot video board feeds floating around on tape trader sites. So it sounds like someone on the SPAC side of things has access to these feeds.

I'm planning to hit Spac for the first time since it's the only big venue left for me.

Any options within walking distance for hotels besides Gideon Putnam? Or shuttles from anywhere? Thanks.

If you don’t mind spending a little extra I’ve stayed at the Hilton garden inn just outside the park it has a path that leads from hotel to avenue of the pines and right to the venue…have walked it many a time and usually a ton of people walk after the show so no issues getting lost or anything

Snagged both SPAC posters thru the warehouse sale! For face value. Bless you Warehouse for having a moral compass.

Stayed there last year, but it's currently showing sold out. I booked the Embassy Suites about half a mile closer to town for now, but I'll be on the lookout for the Garden Inn to open up reservations.

So, did all the hotels just start charging track/DMB rates just to be safe or did they get some preliminary word from SPAC about the schedule?

We'll be looking for AirBnBs this weekend.

Staying at the Hampton Inn at Clifton Park was such a good move this year, hadn't thought of staying in that area before on all of my other SPAC trips but it makes things easy and is on my way home anyway

People say they’ve heard July 8 & 9. Obviously nothing confirmed, but a bunch of folks have and/or are booking places for that weekend.

I booked the Ramada Plaza in Albany for the rumored weekend...it's not super critical for me to actually stay in Saratoga Springs, and it was muuuch cheaper. I'd be flying into Albany, so I would rent a car in any case. This would cross-off the last of the "staple" DMB venues for me (I've done Gorge x2, Deer Creek, and Alpine...is West Palm considered one of these? If so, I guess that's another one I'm missing).

One question: is trying to do either the Baseball HOF (Cooperstown, NY) or Basketball HOF (Springfield, MA) early on the Saturday before N2 feasible? They're both about the same amount of drive time away (3-3.5 hrs round trip)...just wondering if either would be worth it. For those that have done both, which is the better experience? Full disclosure, I don't care much for watching baseball but appreciate the history...and two of my favorite athletes from my childhood are in the Basketball HOF.

Cooperstown is overall a much better take IMO. The baseball HOF is overall cooler and Cooperstown is a much better city in all facets. Springfield is a dump but if you’re into gambling there’s a brand new MGM casino right there that I hear is pretty sweet.

However I wouldn’t really consider it worth the effort on the day of a show. If you were a huge die hard baseball fan it probably would be but day/night 0 is a much better option. Take this with a grain of salt tho as I’m a tailgate/relax/park myself on a barstool kind of guy before shows and SPAC is top tier in the country as far as all 3 of those things go.

Hotel prices for the rumored weekend are insane. I managed to grab the Inn for $190/night (before taxes) right when the date was leaked. Haven't seen anything close to that price range since.

it’s a real easy compromise. Going to be much cheaper, still only a decent Uber away if you wanted to hit downtown, but you do lose some of the atmosphere of the city.

I'd *STRONGLY* recommend not trying to do either one the day of the show. I may be more of a baseball fan, but if you like the history of the sport I'd plan on spending the entire day there. There's so much to take in. I haven't done the basketball HOF in quite a while, it looks like a lot of fun and I wouldn't want to be pressured to get there when it opens or to leave at a specified time.

To each their own, but I'd recommend doing either one on their own days.

Thanks. If I would have more time I'd certainly consider spending a whole day at either of them. As it is, I would probably be flying in to Albany early afternoon on Friday, then fly out Sunday afternoon.

Similar to what I did in 2016 where I hit the two OH shows. After staying in Cincy on Friday night after Riverbend, Saturday morning drove the 4 hours up to Cleveland and spent the afternoon at the Rock & Roll HOF before Blossom...stayed in Akron that night. Sunday morning got up early and drove down to Canton to see the Pro Football HOF for a couple of hours before driving back to Cleveland to fly home. Whirlwind weekend for sure, and I can't say the time spent at either HOF was quality time, but I did hit the highlights.

I'm not much of a DMB tailgater (unless it's the Gorge where you kinda are by definition!), so I'm good with getting to a city, doing a couple of quick touristy things, seeing the shows, and then getting back home.
