TM doesn't do any of that. The venue and the promoter might hold a few, but TM has no control over that. TM is the conduit in which the venue sells tickets.
they have no control over whats available, what the ticket prices are, etc. Its far less nefarious than everyone makes it out to be.

Frostburg is 2 hours 15 minutes from Burgettstown, stop there for the night after Star Lake then get up and eat at the Hen House for breakfast before coming over to MPP.

While you're right that the venue/promoter/band all have their own ticket allocations, the promoter also controls what % of tickets are released during the presales, regular sale, and later on. TM's platform allows them to release everything up front, or in batches, or later on, etc. They could choose not to sell any lawn tickets until months later (happens at SPAC and Budweiser Stage a lot). I was using TM to simplify the point which is that it's not a transparent market and TM never discloses what % or number of tickets are put on sale or withheld (and have lobbied heavily against being forced to do so).

This would be a dream. Between the size of the venue, the fact that it's way closer to my house than either JLL or MPP, and the BYO policy for the lawn. I'd probably try to get a reserved seat then go in and have dinner and get tipsy on the lawn before the show. We could tailgate, and then once gates opened, we could continue the tailgate inside. Will never happen, but fun to dream.

It will be interesting...my ticket just says Zone A, even though I purchased the Lot 3 Fan Club parking.

Zone A includes Lot 2,3, and 5.....when I click on my receipt it says Lot 3 Fan Club parking....but i bet the ticket itself just says Zone A

Lot 3 says Surface Lot and New Garage (Based on availability), so just know that it may be in a parking garage...

Yah I guess mine says Zone A too. The whole thing is sucky, I think most areas are parking lots or parking garages to be honest. I was on some sort of dirt/grass in 2021, but can’t remember where. I also was in a limo bus thing so maybe that was different. Total parking lot spot next to a garage and shopping center when I went to Buffett last year, it was weird. Is there no area with a dirt lot anymore?

On that note. Will probably be arriving on the later side near the show start time. Anyone have experience rolling into PIT late? We don't really need to be upfront - just wanted to know if it's crowded in Merriweather.

No dirt parking lot. They built up the whole area now.

I was confused about parking in 21. We just got lunch at Union Jacks and stayed parked in our spot and had some drinks there. Quite a few people did the same. Everyone had chairs set up and stuff. Probably just gonna do the same thing this year.

Nice! We stayed at Union Jacks for like 2 songs of the tribute band that was playing, then we saw the lot getting pretty active so we headed over there. Glad we did, it was fun.
