Re: I Know I Know but... Next Live Trax Please

Maybe they do another Live At/In... release instead of a LiveTrax and bundle a bonus disc with that? What was the last live album that had mass market distribution? That Target Exclusive Rhino's Choice thing was just a compilation of live songs, so it would be Live in Atlantic City right? Which was released in 2011. Crazy it's been that long since they have done an in store live release (granted most stuff has gone digital, but I think you get my point kind of... hopefully..)

It’s would be easy enough to find a 2022 show with 3 or 4 WATM songs. No need for a bonus disc.

There really is no market for a Live At release.

I fully expect them to skip the spring Live Trax release all together and do a double release later this year Ala the years we got Dave and Tim releases.

Atlantic City was a dmb web store exclusive, same with Sweet Briar, Live 25 and Hollywood Bowl. I think Wrigley was the last retail release. Maybe that’s why they aren’t on streaming services? Seems dumb.

Briar College technically was a retail release. It was sold in the Briar College bookstore. But they should do more Live In/At…. releases. It would be a modern release of a recent big town revenue. But I don’t carry, I’d buy the CD.

Agreed they should finally do a live in store release. I can only imagine their own Live Trax distribution nets them more $$$. Sadly that is the driver albeit a band that speaks down upon capitalism. All good though. Hypocrisy is alive everywhere.

No matter how pure you are, you’ve lied at some point.

Beyond that point, give me a gd live release already

Yeah. DMB owns the rights to their own music do they not??
The things that aren't streaming that should be
*The complete Gorge from 2002 -- Only the compilation is streaming.
*The complete Weekend on the Rocks -- Same as Gorge.
*You'd think they'd have put Atlantic City up after running it as a Drive-In (maybe also the Lakeside show from 2011)
*Night 1 of Wrigley -- Knowing that there's a box set with both shows. If N2 is on I don't know why Night 1 isn't.
*Live 25 -- Don't know what would prohibit that one.
*Hollywood Bowl -- Especially because CDs are obsolete and remember vinyl is expensive (I purposely avoid Vinyl because of how expensive it is -- I do cassette instead).
The other thing they should consider is putting past WH exclusive shows on nugs/other streaming services (Charlotte '18 is on nugs because it was a drive-in, Sacramento '19, Gilford '21).

Re: I Know I Know but... Next Live Trax Please

Everything you have named here as to not being on streaming was something released as a Warehouse membership/DMB shop exclusive/bonus/benefit.

If you take the word 'exclusive' at face value, your question is answered.

*Lakeside was an exclusive for Google Play. An even more complete version of that show (Minus Can't Stop and Thank You) aired on a Chicago radio station.

This was a fun show (Especially Dave's placement of Death on the High Seas and watching people scramble back to the pavilion as Last Stop began), but the night before was about as perfect a set as you're going to find.

Weird request but here’s a few noteworthy shows, not necessarily campaigning that they get released:

    12/13/98 (Rapunzel trainwreck): https://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.a...3054788&tid=22

7/9/03 (insane set but Boyd is rough): https://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.a...3055979&tid=72

6/24/12 (not bad for a festival set): https://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.a...057015&tid=117

7/1/15 (one of the better two sets shows, minus the encore): https://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.a...060225&tid=128

2/3/18 (no Boyd, something’s wrong with Carter the entire night): https://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.a...77478&tid=5156

11/13/22 (not a terrible set, but not great either): https://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.a...90944&tid=8172

I mean I guess the recording I'm talking about is technically a tape. It's a taboo subject, I'll just leave it at that.

I’m open for any show, from any year. Especially if it’s highly regarded by people who listen to tapes. As long as it’s a DMB show and not D&T, or ‘14 or ‘15 with that forgettable acoustic set ploy, or D/T/L.

I’ve always wondered why they don’t release a show from the 2017 D&T tour. The SPAC and Philly shows were unreal!

Clearly one of the two seems to not like 2017??

There were very few what would be considered subpar shows from the 2017 Dave & Tim tour. And even those lesser ones are pretty good.

Personally I’d buy Philly N2, Pine Knob, Nashville N2 or SPAC N2 upon announcement
