Went to the NFL Draft last night. Was so nice to be at an event. Caught Kings of Leon, they played for a half hour or so. They had a vaccinated Fan zone where we stood, and an unvaccinated spot, that could see, but was way away. You were supposed to wear masks in both areas, most people had them on their chins lol. Was not being enforced really at all--I imagine concerts will be the same way. Based on the draft, i'm confident these concerts will be happening. These DMB concerts are scheduled to happen right about when the NFL is expecting to fill their stadiums again, I imagine NFL will be normal this year too.

I think a lot of people are simply in denial about the country reopening. It's almost as if they don't want it to..

Another good sign...I had tickets to see Jason Isbell at a Theater last June, which they never printed tickets for me. They rescheduled it to this June, still did not print tix and the show was ultimately rescheduled again for this December. I just got an email saying my tickets were printed for the December show, have to imagine it will happen at this point.

To the bold, I can totally see something like Gorge setup like this, tbh. I may be off base, but I wouldn't be shocked if they have different zones in certain areas.

Also, similarly, what happens next year when concerts go around again? From what I understand, the vaccination shots are good for only one year and people are going to (or encouraged to) have to get shots next year. I wonder how they will reinforce safety measures for next year if it's true that the shots are only good for a year.

I don't know that we have the data yet to know how long protection lasts from these vaccines. It wouldnt surprise me if boosters are needed. Probably a let's see how things go approach regarding next year. I think eventually, they will phase out any concern of covid protocols all together.

no chance. too late in the process for segregating the crowd.

the only thing i could potentially see, is a "socially distanced" section far at the back of the lawn for people.

we're worried about next year when we don't even know what's happening this year?

I can't say there won't be a bunch of repeats, but Tampa has gotten some really solid setlists recently...and that's coming from someone who's pretty critical of them. And the Tampa shows usually sell well.

I think LN “platinum” stuff is crap but I was able to find “base price” $85 seat lowers to all my shows. Everything else was 3-400 though.

Tampa. On Ticketmaster, sections 4-7 are all $400+ platinum crap. Sections 8-10 are $115. Sections 11-17 are $45-85. All prices are before fees.

I'm in section 9.

Funny - I just purchase tampa last night.

Lowers we’re all 3-400 like you said. I ended up in section 11 for $45 - non aisle seat. That seemed to be the different between that and $85. At least what I randomly saw.

But it was mostly 85-115.
