If they reschedule, then Dave and Tim will probably end up with Covid that week and they'll have to reschedule some more.
If they reschedule into 2022, we could very well have a super variant that causes all concerts to be halted.
I think the policy they're going to take is that as long as Dave is able, the show will go on. They want to get these shows DONE, not reschedule them again to a future date that may not happen either.
Nothing is certain anymore, except uncertainty. When you buy a ticket, book a flight, etc, you should do so knowing that at a moment's notice that event could be cancelled or postponed.
Also, stop worrying about COVID so much. I assume you're vaccinated already. Just unplug from the news and go about your life as you see fit... it's much better this way. (I am also happily vaccinated, and will get the booster when they tell me it's time to do so).
