We lost our Sheltie, Toby, after almost 15 years this past December- it has taken a while to get over it and we just put a deposit down on a mini goldendoodle.
Of course my kids, 15 yrs old and 20 yrs old were all for it, but it took a bit of back and forth between my wife and I to finally decide to pull the trigger- to start over with a puppy again, limiting some of our freedom, etc. Toby did not like the car so we very rarely took him places with us. Im sure this pup will be the opposite and we can incorporate her into our trips and outings.

This litter was born May 27th, and we choose in early July so Ill post photos then. We are excited but also nervous again! its an F1B

Apparently we are getting a second dog

10 month old bernedoodle. His owner passed away and he ended up with the humane society in Kansas. The owners brother flew down to get the dog and the cat and is looking to re-home the dog.


Met him yesterday he is the sweetest pup, bringing our dog to meet him today.

His dad is 3/4 mini poodle1/4 Bernese. Mom is 50/50 Bernese/mini poodle

He was the only white/brownish one in the litter lol

Yup! That’s what lady does. I open the door and she stands there with her nose in the air sniffing.

This one takes right off out the back door and lady follows so that’s been helpful

When the newbie dog finally figures out that the veteran is the boss.

It really can take a while for them to sort shit out. Experts say to not leave them alone without supervision for at least 6 months.

Yeah, I mean it all depends on the scenario too. We had our younger dog here before we adopted the 2 older ones. It’s been almost a year since we brought them home and I still wouldn’t leave them all together unsupervised for very long. Riff (the younger one) can still annoy the shit out of the older ones when he wants to.

Pumpkin is under triple digits!!! Just had her check up and she weighed in at 98.1lbs. Down from 130 when we adopted her almost a year ago.
