I have our ticket requests in but was wondering if there were any good places (i.e., links) to go on here for info on all things SPAC. I see the mention here about about all the bars and DMB cover bands on N0. That sounds awesome! We've never been to upstate NY anywhere so any place that has info would be awesome.
We'd prefer to stay closer to SS but aren't opposed to something further away. We'll be flying to ALB and renting a car.
I don't mean to ask the obvious questions over and over but as a first-timer, any help would be much appreciated! If I just need to search on my own I can but thought I'd ask for those that might have some good info at the ready to point me to.
Thanks (in advance)!!

Brad (CrushLive) is your local and will guide you along your way. I'd blindly take any of his advice.
One thing I will suggest is to go as early as you can. Make a little vacation out of it outside of your typical Friday/Sat shows then leave on Sunday. There is a ton to do, and SS has more charm than anywhere else in NY. You'll definitely fall in love with the area. If you can go a few days early, do it. I go Weds morning every year and even then, I could easily spend the entire week there prior to the shows.
As far as places to stay - luckily SS is very easily accessible and car friendly. The misfortune in 2023 is that DMB is playing during track opening season, so getting an AirBnB close to downtown is going to cost an arm and a leg. If you find a decent spot in a 15-20 min radius, go for it. Parking downtown, the state park, etc, is very user friendly and once you are there you are there. Same goes for the venue - driving is your best bet since Uber is atrocious after any concert venue.
Research and make reservations ASAP, it will be a lot busier this year than most since DMB and track opening season will bring a TON of people into the area.
