I'm not sure, but the Woodlands tape sounds like a mastered soundboard recording.

I've been listening to this band for nearly 20 years, and Woodlands is the closest to a full band soundboard that I've ever heard. Phenomenal. With this kind of clarity I got all excited for Boyd's BBN solo, which was there for a second, and then it slowly disappeared. WTF??? Why does the sound guy do that? That solo is the best part of the damn song.

i try to do a split stack (like Woodlands) every year, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't (like Dallas two nights ago). check out woodlands 2009 and 2010 if you get a chance as well.

The original Bismarck I downloaded somewhere on ants when it first appeared had the word Master on it. Not sure what it really means, but I still have it. Here:

Seriously, I really hope someone is taping this show. Everything I've heard on periscope sounds fantastic. Boyd can be heard on everything! And he sounds great. So pumped about that. Hopefully that stays the norm this tour.

With the amount of effort they are putting into these songs they are bringing back, the quality of the new songs this tour and the overall performances this year, i have to say we are on 2013 type solid summer of shows so far.

Hope i don't eat those words but fuck it, i think I'm gonna jump on this hype train and ride that bitch all summer.

Is anyone else wishing the 25th anniversary concert was post tour as a wrap up?? The new songs would be so tight and they would have had more options to play. Gorge will be special this year.

2016 Tour Audio Highlights
To help people out who don't like messing with torrents, the past few years I’ve done a compilation of some of the standouts and most discussed songs (good and bad) so people could listen to them.

As always, this was done with permission from the tapers that request their content not be put into MP3 format - so a thank you to them for letting me do this and a big thank you to them for all they do for the DMB community. Credit is given to each taper in the ID3 tag of the audio file.

Big time, you can hear Boyd playing throughout the song and it's a little slower, sounds really good

Loving this tune, and Boyd has actually been playing on it and you can hear him. That was my one complaint about the tunes last summer, besides Black and Bluebird. Boyd wasn't on any of the new songs except B&BB and they sounded more like Dave solo songs. Good songs, but not band songs. But now they're starting to come together a bit more. I can still do without Virginia in the Rain.
