Stage is about 10 feet high (maybe a bit of an exaggeration), so if you're on the rail you have a hard time seeing the back of the stage unless you're tall.

This shit hole was the scene of one of my all time DMB show moments. Power went out in the middle of Granny during the usual and expected storm. Music stopped, although I believe Carter may have kept playing. Place went dark and quiet. Emergency generators kicked in and after about a minute with power restored the band picked up where they left off.

That has been the problem in the past.
As a result I am passing on any WH request for this show. (Only one I will need in the “series” (having separate series is a cash grab in itself for which Capshaw and his cronies and not TM/LN are to blame)
I just need a single and will likely be a able to pick up a good one somewhere along the way without paying additional $30.00 to ship me a single ticket here in Canada.

I don't think the single matters. Pretty sure that warehouse confirms in pairs and when it's an odd number that's how they end up with the tickets for the instants.

So, the family will be in Buffalo/Niagra Falls this week. What are the odds? Thinking of trying to attend this show with the 11yo. What's the venue like? Would it be hard to be dropped off/picked up by my husband (not a DMB fan)? Or would I need to drive?

Also, any tips or advice about things to do in the area, besides the Falls, for a family with an 11yo and a 13yo?

You could spend the day at the park before the show. Venue has a reputation that is well deserved. Not the most desirable place, but always a solid setlist. If you're looking at Niagara Falls, head to the Canadian side and Clifton Hill. Tons of fun stuff for the kids.

Looks like I am. I put in for a pair of reserved seats (under cover). Hoping that, if I get confirmed, they don't stick the WH members behind a pole. I'm sure they do though.

We had planned a vacation for the first week of summer and bizarrely picked the exact location that DMB would be playing that week.

After the tour was announced, I understood that I was in NY and they would be in NY so I searched for how close Darien Lake was to Buffalo. Close. LOL

Looks like there is a VIP Live Nation club here. Will probably head over to ticketmaster and tack that on. Worth it for the bathroom alone when you have a youngster with you.
