Ya’ll acting like I skipped one of my own childrens’ weddings to go see DMB do “Louisiana Bayou”

If you can see, these weren’t closely exactly close knit weddings it just sounds funny/extreme to say. In my case, was a coworker at a place i haven’t worked in 5 years. Not sure i was missed at it, I’m still very ok with my decision to go on a weekend getaway with my wife in Nashville. Great time, we had a fun kid-free weekend away. I’d do it again.

But maybe i should check my priorities leaving our children for a weekend to go see Dave and Tim…tell me again about my priorities…

I've missed DMB shows for weddings. Then they get divorced. I'm out $100 and a show - and they're out $35k and half of what they owned. We'd have both been more happy skipping the wedding.

Here's some serious advice. Do all of your bucket list venues and non-DMB related travel before having a child.

In my experience, local shows are fine when you have a child(outside of the first 3 months). I usually go to one show without my wife then one show with her every year.

Any overnight trip that is for fun takes a lot more consideration.

Good to know thanks for the advice! I was glad to cross off Creekend and Alpine this year before the wedding this winter for that reason. Now I have completed the Trinity of Gorge, SPAC, Alpine and then Deer Creek which was an awesome experience.

My wife is way less into shows than I am, but goes to probably 1 out of every 4 shows i attend. When we had our oldest, I didnt go to any shows until she was about 8 months old and we felt more comfortable with the routines. With my youngest, I went to a local show when she was 3 months old. Now that they are 4/6 in age, my concerts are almost up to where they were pre-kids. Local shows are no issue at all. Overnight trips/long travel are harder sells though--I would love to hit up the gorge, but i feel too guilty dropping the $3,000+ and taking the vacation time from work that it would take for me to do it right, when I could have spent that time/money on a family vacation.

I have the Warehouse email from 10/19/18 for the 2019 European tour, but nothing saved from earlier tours.

Based on 2010, 2017, and 2019, if they're looking at a potential EU tour in early 2023, mid-October seems most likely for an announcement. Would also make sense if the album has been announced for Oct/Nov release by that point.

again, I have no insight about the MSG shows, but I don't think we can just assume they will be weekend shows. MSG is a different beast.

I, personally am praying for december MSG shows. My december is pretty wide open.

I have a bachelor party and then mohegan and boston shows in november. on top of thanksgiving.

Not asking for specific dates, but does anyone have an idea of when we may get an announcement? I am in position of being East Coast and trying to decide if I want to add shows on the back leg of the Summer Tour or wait and hope the Fall/Winter tour occurs.

This is me too. I may get a gig through most of November to Dec 11, and if CVille or MSG are mid December I won’t have to fret about it. Sounds like that may be a little too much to hope for though.

not trying to be a wise guy, but if you're from Texas, do you see shows in the northeast because you reside in the northeast now? Or do you still live in TX and just like shows in the NE?

Not sure if it was mentioned abut hotel booking schedule for Mohegan sun is Check out only for 11/17/22 which corresponds with the rumored 11/17/22 DMB show.

fair question if you don't know me--all good.

I live in Dallas (from Dallas), but I lived in NYC for 6 years, and I still enjoy going back to visit (more than living there).

Couple that with MSG shows being epic and some of the best energy around, and my girlfriend currently living in the NE for the time being-- it adds up.

for the sake of dave's voice at the MSG shows, I hope this is inaccurate. As much as 2010 N2 was special, I don't need him trying to replicate it.

4 nights in a row is also VERY uncommon for the band.

Also based on the dates I have heard, this is inaccurate. again, my info could also be wrong.

I was thinking wed/thur then friday off followed by sat/sun MSG… but i also hope i am wrong haha.

I think the only speculation was increased hotel prices surrounding JPJ for the 1st/2nd and no other weekends.
