Doing some back reading of this thread.
Some random thoughts:

I agree Tim was turned up too loud in the 2010 era, but I'll take electric Busted Stuff over no Busted Stuff any day. Add Buddy to the mix, and a better mixed 2020s Tim and I think it will sound great.

From what I know, it was 5.18.2002, Mountain View, CA.
Apparently, something wasn’t working at the end of the song. Carter and Dave talk about “too tension”, and Dave said “fu** that tune”. You can listen the tune
here and the comments after the song
here (don’t report me for that, please).
After that, the song wasn’t played full band for 8 years (more than 600 shows), and it was liberated on 5.28.2010 at Hartford, CT, and played in that tour as you guys said above, to disappear again.
That 2002 performance wasn’t particularly bad though, to my untrained ears:
Roi plays a beautiful solo like only he could do, then they kind of get lost on the final 40 seconds of songs. For the musicians in this board: do notice something wrong here?

That’s also my opinion, 100%.

In fact. I am a big Peter Gabriel’s fan, and this is literally nothing compared to what he did. In 2003 he released Up (after such a long time from the one before), and said he was going to change his workflow and that he would have released many more closer album since than. Almost 20 years and we’re still waiting another album (which is not a compilation). So sad.
