what other groups are you going to have at Star Lake after the show in regards to the debate between the 2 shows?

    you're going to have:
    people who went to 6/20/09
    and
people who went to 6/20/09 AND 6/13/09

Why is that unreal? Its a repeat from the night before and its a new song. Powerful Bartender opener blows that out of the water

i never said anything about setlist watchers

between the 2 venues there are probably 35,000 (and thats a conservative estimate) unique people....and these "groups" you talked to after this show that happened 6 years ago had how many people in them?

i'm just saying, just because some ppl in the parking lot said they liked SPAC better doesn't just make it right...its simply the opinion of a very, very small minority

So. Anyone have any highlights from the show that I can look forward to. I'll definitely be buying this one. Venue is pretty much irrelevant. I'm curious about the performances. Especially a 14 minute version of The Stone and an 09 Pig and Dreaming Tree. Was the DT jam similar to the LT2008 version by any chance?

Oh hey, there's also a new DMB Live from Athens, GA from 1994. Good stuff DMB!

I didn't see this. This is awesome.

I live in Athens so it will be cool to have a DMB show from the old Georgia Theater. I do wish we could have gotten ...

I was at both shows 6.13 & 6.20 and 6.20 is a top 3-5 all time show for me. 6.13 is an amazing show with the Shake Me opener for the first time, Dive In Debut, the tour debuts and that encore is fantastic. At the same time there is just something about 6.20, the songs flowed so well together and the band and the crowd were both on fire. I remember after both of those two weekends the anticipation for the Alpine shows was through the roof.

You mean the main set that included...

    Typical Situation
    Alligator Pie
Dive In (possibly best full band version)
    The Stone (all time version)
    Lie in Our Graves
    Why I Am
    The Song That Jane Likes
    Crash into Me
    Two Step

...? What the fuck is there to "make up" for?

Pretty sure people who were at both are in the best position to form an unbiased opinion, no?

Worst fucking show I've ever seen.

But I would've loved to see it released because I was there and this thread would be a shit show.
