Please share with me if someone doesn’t mind…Nashville was our first show (my wife and I). Please and thank you.

I'll never understand why you have to wait a month after renewing to be able to download these songs...it makes zero sense to not have it immediately available

I know that in the past they would do the send out for everyone who had subscribed the previous YEAR... so had to wait a year before getting anything...

Ex: If you subscribed in 2005, you wouldn't get a package till 2006...

I think management realized if DMB ever called it quits they would still need to send out a package the following year... so to be more "up to date" they decided one year (2018? 2019? I can't remember exactly) to send out the previous years package and then offer the current years package delivered the same year. This was back when they were still shipping CD's and photos out via USPS.

I'm pretty sure the month wait is a holdover from before everything went purely digital, so they could total up the orders and ship them out all at once.

Hopefully I didn't just add to the confusion...
    Cheers!

The "month after signup/renew" schedule is a revenue maximizing business decision:

    1) NEW MEMBERS - Get the download the month after you sign up!! - They hope to attract new members and get a new $35

    2) OLD MEMBERS - Get the download the month after you renew next!! - They hope to retain members and get another $35

Giving all existing members the download at the same time doesn't maximize revenue

It still makes no sense. I renewed in December so I'm getting it anyway since I just paid $35 but its "locked" for me for another year. It doesn't matter if I renew or not again, I still get it I just have to wait. I basically paid for it a year in advance.

I don't think that's how it works. When you renewed in DEC 2022 you should have got the 2022 download in JAN 2023 (8.25.2021 at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH). Is that what you got last month?

Right, but everyone else got it a year prior. They need to streamline it and re-organize it better. It just gets plain confusing to get a 2023 package in 2024 for example.

Everyone got it the month after they paid $35. Everyone is the same. December just happens to be the last month in the calendar year, so of course the "month after December" is in the next calendar year. But "everyone" "didn't get is a whole year prior".

1/22 payments got it in 2/22
2/22 payments got it in 3/22
    .
    .
    .
11/22 payments got it in 12/22
12/22 payments got it in 1/23

It's organized perfectly to maximize $35 payments. It's held back intentionally in hopes of members renewing. Yes, technically an electronic file could be release to all members at the same time, but that doesn't maximize profits. This is entirely a business decision. We don't have to like it, as it seems to penalize people the later their renewal month, but you have to understand it?

Maybe an analogy, the poor people on the west coast don't get shows until 8-9 months from now when east coast will get shows in a couple months; they get to "hear it" months earlier.

A workaround if it's that important to see a show early - travel

A workaround if it's that important to get the annual package early - don't renew in DEC, and open a new membership in JAN...or keep both

I mean this makes little sense…you already have my money…you’re not enticing me to spend more by waiting till the month after I renew to give me the annual package…when they mailed everything out it made more sense…now that everything is digital it doesn’t…I’m not renewing and then the next month going oh cool they sent me essentially what I paid for I can’t wait to renew in another 11 months

    A) you can’t renew early…whatever month you first joined is when you can renew…B) you’re literally not allowed to have two accounts…it’s not based on email it’s based on mailing address

    A) I didn't say renew early, let current membership expire and then "join" again as a new member

    B) Use 2 addresses; there are plenty of people/couples/familes with multiple accounts

I'm not really suggesting to do either, but they're both being done currently

I'm not justifying the month delay, but I am explaining why a business doesn't give you their service/product until shortly after you pay them, and why it doesn't make sense to give every member the 2023 package now before 92% of members haven't paid their $35 this year yet.

And I'm not suggesting all 92% are only staying for the package, but some are, or at least the Warehouse thinks so.

I feel like there could be some grace period of super old members. I've been in the WH for 24 years...but I joined Nov 99, so I have to wait until December this year to get this lol.

I don't really care too much, it's just kinda silly IMO.

All of this is kind of proving my point at how silly this all is…I shouldn’t have to go out of my way to get something that’s provided with my membership and honestly it’s gymnastics like this that make more and more people say it’s not worth it to keep renewing…it’s all very simple you renew the download should be available within a week…sorry I just can’t follow the logic that making people wait a month after renewal is good business or that it entices people to renew the following year

This Warehouse Disc kinda fuckin slaps lol can't believe im saying this but this Do You Remember is electric. Great disc start to finish. I know there shouldn't be covers on a Warehouse disc but since it was all summer 2022 I would have loved a Fool in the Rain cover to replace bayou at the end of the disc.

I haven’t downloaded any package in the last couple years because you need a conputer?!?

I have Apple Music and I’m able to acces the new album as soon as tracks are available but where packages are concerned I need an fn computer. This is the biggest farce ever and the reason I have not been able to receive packages for many years now even though I fn pay a yearly CDN membership

Just realized after posting that, doesn't look like Watchtowers ever been on a warehouse disc. I get thats a cover too but like their version is so uniquely DMB I'm kinda surprised by that

Letting the current membership expire gets rid of seniority and the other perks of being a Warehouse member long-term, so I don't think it is a realistic choice for people who care about that sort of thing.

You just have to decide what you care more about. Seniority or getting your download in February.

And some say, new memberships get all the pits and somehow "randomly" get great seats on "random" night. And again, wasn't really suggesting to have 2 accounts, or let one die and then open a new one in JAN to be first on the list for the annual package. Just pointing out that it happens.
