Does anyone else do this?

I was just digging around some of my old stuff and stumbled upon tons and tons of old ticket stubs from sporting events to concerts to movies to museums to amusement parks to plane tickets, etc. Looking back at the dates on some of the stuff is ridiculous. Things I thought weren't that long ago turned out to be like ten years ago already. It also made me realize that I have seen the Brewers play the Reds about a million times.

Only for concerts. I have a photo album full. This is my tenth year of seeing DMB live, and after this year's concerts are done, I'm going to frame up the ten years worth of DMB stubs, then get started on the next ten.

Someday, I'll probably frame up all my non-dmb stubs too.

I've got all my concert stubs and sporting event tickets. Here is the odd thing though, I have every single movie ticket stub for every movie I've been to in the last 8 or 9 years. I think I started collecting them in 2000. The stack has 2 rubber bands around it and it's about 2 inches thick just one movie stub on top of the other. One year I went to something like 60 movies in 52 weeks.

I've only really kept DMB tickets, and I'm glad I started it way back, though I have all 15 except my first show, sadly. What I have from that show is a standard red ticket (like the kind from an arcade) that the TicketMaster office in the grocery store gave us, the people lined up for the tickets, as a sort of drawing for the line. So it's close!

My girlfriend's mom just gave me a photo album for my bday because I've been saying I need to get one now and start my DMB scrap book... stubs, setlist prints, pics maybe, who knows.

Every other ticket I usually keep for a while then come across it and am like "Eh, i dont need this anymore"

Yeah, it's amazing at the amount of movies I've been to. I probably didn't start saving movie stubs until 2003 or 2004 and it's a huge stack since then.

I always have consciously saved sporting and concert tickets, but looking through my stacks, it's amazing at some of the stuff I've saved. Tickets to Sea World from vacations, tickets to the Kennedy Space Center, airline tickets, etc.

I think it's cool though. I might have to buy some sort of thing to organize them in.

I understand why people do this, but I just never have done it. I do have my student ticket from Syracuse's 2003 Championship season, though. That's pretty Boss.

Nah, I don't keep them. I can see why some people would though. I just don't need more clutter in my life...

I have almost all of mine, except a couple shows that I printed tickets for. Though I think I'll keep the ticket for Black Star tomorrow which I printed as well.

I need to get on this. I got newspaper articles from the incredible Chicago sports game i've been too, awesome concert photos i've taken, and ever concert i've been too.

And with the release of the new Live Trax, i'll find a way to incorporate the cd/booklet into as well.

It's going to be huge.

I was going to put it on mine but I figured I would have it forever this way. I didn't want to have to display my truck bumper on my garage wall when it died.

I save every concert ticket, every pro sporting event ticket, lift ticket, and tickets to random attractions. I've got them all stuck on a big corkboard. I also save the room key card from interesting/unique hotels I've stayed in.

Sadly the only concert ticket I don't have is a Warehouse ticket from my first DMB show.

I have ALMOST every DMB stub that I've been too... I wish I had saved the stubs from other concerts I've been to.

Pretty much have them from the vast majority of shows I have been to. Have about 50 DMB ones (10 years of 1995-2005) framed with a cool drawing of the band and some assorted other stuff I saved over the years. Though I am slightly irked because about 10 of them are missing from 1996 - 2001, my drinking days so to speak.

I would have all of them, but I got too drunk at Charlottesville N1 and dropped it somewhere on the way in after i got inside. luckily though i sobered up right away. still pisses me off i lost the stub

I've got them from probably 90% of the concerts and sporting events I've been to. Unfortunately I don't have them for my first two DMB shows because my friends bought the tickets in bulk off TicketMaster and printed them off. Couldn't see keeping a piece of paper.

Concerts (I didn't start collecting til like 07 though), my world series tickets from last year, and every away Phillies game I've been to (Fenway, Shea, National Park, Yankee Stadium, and soon to be Citi Field)

I try to save most of them from the various concerts I go to, but many have been lost along the way.

except DMB Randall's Island n1 from '06....

I also keep every ticket to sporting events as well... I have about 100 Syracuse b-ball ticket stubs

I have all my concert tix, and refuse to print them out because I want the tickets to hold on to.
