None of that is an issue for me. My point was about the remembering aspect, not the stuff you mentioned.

Honestly this. I'm not flying my future son down until he's at least 4.

My point was comparing it to a birthday party. Do what you want and take your kids where you want, but a Disney trip and a birthday party are slightly dissimilar.

sorry. but it's true. my daughter cried when she was 3 b/c she'd never been to Disney. she had been when she was 2 1/2.

when she was 5 she thought it was her 1st time at Disney.

Jake, I acknowledged that. That wasn’t the point of the trip. He had a good time. We have a family vacation with lots of memories of our time. That’s what counts.

    I understand.

I just think - overall - if you're not from Florida taking a less than 4 year old to Disney isn't worth it from a financial standpoint.

My youngest daughter (who just turned 4 a few days ago) has been to Disneyworld / Disneyland every age - 0, 1, 2, 3. She vaguely remembers 2, but definitely remembers 3 (only 4 months ago)

What Fish said. It will be interesting how the shole process goes. It's a 4-hour block so I can go hangout throughout the park the rest of the time and then head over to that section during my allocated time.

yeah. I assume WDW is waiting to see how it goes before they put out more info. Everything I heard that not once was it ever going to open in two phases they really just sprung that on everyone at the last minute and now its a mad scramble to get it done on time.

I Think they wanted to make some extra money and get some people to come twice. Rumors that they are having testing issues on ROTR. Along with that opening later Mickey and Minnie's runaway railroad now has a Spring 2020 debut when it was originally expected to open in 2019.

Yeah. and at least at WDW they get a full month of it during this FY. That new Cars racing school show isn't doing well there has been almost zero queue for it. I think they were hoping that and runaway railroad would spread out the people but oh well.

When we go in November we are going to try and do early magic hours for HS knock out Toy Story land again get breakfast then probably take off to MK or the resort by lunch time.

We did EMH for Toy Story a couple weeks ago and I found it interesting that it was less crowded on a non EMH day... and just being there at rope drop. It was not a huge difference but I would say we waited an extra 20 minutes for Slinky being there for EMH at rope drop compared to normal day at rope drop.

Cars was pretty empty when we went as well. Cute show though and my little guy enjoyed it.

Yeah. I'm actually looking forward to cars and the new Incredibles show. We did rope drop last year for Toy Stoy and got on Slinky Dog in about 30mins. Had fast passes for toy story mania and was able to knock out alien teacup thing all by about 10am.

The land looks incredible and reading peoples interaction with the characters just walking around the land.

The food and the ride look good not great...I'm sure the ride opening in a few months will be amazing and give FOP a run for its money

Tim Tracker continues to put out the best Disney vids - I watched that the other day, it's an excellent breakdown.

some reviews have been kinda meh so far, but it's so early I'm not sure it's very fair to make some criticisms of it.
