They have a show there Thursday night, and the building tries to keep as many dates as possible open for the Nashville Predators and the Playoff run since they are the main tenant (they've had to change concert dates each of the past few years).

I think most big companies are fine with it (my company recommends it as a benefit and has a whole intranet site about it), as it drives up purchasing volume which hopefully results in even cheaper rates for the company at next contract rate negotiation time

AirBnB. I recently got an apartment to myself for $120 for a 2-night stay. I couldn't even find a decent hotel for less than $200.

When I was looking at the options there were tons of great places within 15 minutes of downtown for a way more affordable price than any of the hotels were offering.

It's large if they do it like the other shows I've been to there. If they do floor seating it'll probably still be half the arena floor. If no floor seats it'll literally be a hockey floor-size space of standing room only.

I think I will AirBnb this one too, though, $120 a night AirBnb is roughy equivalent to $200/night in a hotel after all the fees.

The cool thing is that downtown Nashville is pretty concentrated--once you get down there, it's pretty easy to walk just about anywhere. So at least you're not wasting unnecessary money on inner-city travel.
