That's not one of the more interesting beats I cover... The United Hockey League (AA, minor league) is fun to write about, especially last season when several Red Wings played for the Motor City Mechanics last year due to the lockout. I interviewed Sean Avery (LA Kings),Chelios, Draper, Hatcher (Flyers) and Smolinski (Senators). Some of those guys are characters...

They have so many posts because their thread was started back in June...first they were outraged because there was no Toronto date. It picked up a little speed when the September show was announced and then cancelled shortly thereafter. Being from the Quad Cities I really got into the UHL. I've been to so many Mallards games it's not even funny. Sitting 2 rows from the ice for only $12 isn't bad at all.

We will discuss the trophy and come up with something when you and Matt visit C-bus. I like the candy corn/cornflakes idea. Not sure about the cream corn .

Do you think the hotel will be conducive to upper decking? I'm not sure they have those styles with the tank.

yeah, ontario people SUCK at driving in the States. It'a a very well-known fact around here. You're, like, not on this planet or something, always looking around, never paying attention, ALWAYS in the left lane, NEVER going above 65.
