Re: Annual Warehouse Package

I feel like I never hear 1994 DMB, so that run is VERY cool.

10.02.2007 is a phenomenal show on paper!

Just looking at the song Shotgun from that show, someone was just shot in the head last night across the street from me at the local mall. I mean, it literally only takes me about five or so minutes to walk there. I heard the medical helicopter overhead. What is so terrible in some of these people's lives that they have to go out and do these horrible things? Man, people are hurting for what is good sometimes. The info said he was wounded, so hopefully he is alive.

Sometimes I think about a butterfly effect. What if one person was extra kind to the shooter yesterday, maybe he would not have pulled the trigger.

Nice! I’m very happy with Volume 11 for a few reasons. Reason 1.) they are finally returning to giving us a mix of tracks throughout the years! 2.) I’m a big fan of ‘94 era and have been wanting them to release that show ever since WH10 Vol 5, so I’m really glad they picked that closing run. 3.) That Black and Blue Bird. I love this song and we only have one version released, plus I was at this WPB show. Good stuff!

My question is at this point why don't they just release that show? They've put out almost half of it on these Warehouse discs. Just release the whole thing if you're gonna put 4 songs from the show on a disc

I'm looking forward to 8/25/21 to be released. We have yet to have a Seek Up & Crush released with the current line up. Crush has become a loud epic Jam and I'm pumped to hear it. Buddy and the horns add a lot to the long intro to Seek up. The new evolution of Sweet is really nice to have too. Sure there could have been better shows picked, but there could have been a lot worse too.

Black and Bluebird...so good. Happy to be getting a new version of it. Hoping that one swings its way back into rotation.

10/2/07 looks amazing, i dont normally buy LT unless it is a show i attended, but i would definitely buy that show if it were released. As for individual tracks, would love to have #41 w/John Mayer from either 10/2/07 or 9/6/07.

Definitely in the back half of shows on paper, but you're so right on Crush. It's always been Crush ya know and there are times in the bands career where it's been a monster and times when it's just been Crush and in 2021 it was SUPER CRUSH

Oh well. Back to Meet at the Show

I am listening to the tape right now, from Jon Koch. It is quite good, great clarity and crisp sound.

Jon himself wrote a little story a while ago, telling some behind-the-scenes of this great pull.

This show was a pretty big deal at the time because up until this point, the shows were mostly terrible. This was the first great show of the tour.

Copperpot youtube channel has the whole show multi-cammed. It's worth a watch too.

If it’s like last year, which it appears to be, then it will be available in the month after your renewal. I’m a January renewal, so I’ll probably get it at the end of February.

Man, I remember like 2 years ago we tried to find the interview link from that time and came up empty.

I can dedicate some time to try to find it again. I'll check the ATL 2012 show thread, but the interview was just sometime right after that show before they were playing a northeast show. Let me see what I can find.

The night before was my first show and I decided to skip this show despite my friend going and it was up on copperpots later that summer. I got FOMO watching this on youtube and haven't missed a Hartford or any Connecticut show since this show.

It is also one of the highest viewed coppertpot videos last i checked

Such an underrated show. Friend of mine tweeted at Fonz day before that first show that Hartford had never gotten Halloween.

Fonz responded right away, "I shall make that known".

Band was on FIRE that 2nd night.

Fonz was good to us that year. I had tweeted him before the Scranton show that STJL had never been played in Scranton. They ended up opening the encore with it

I'd like every tour represented, eventually.

This last LT release was interesting in that it displayed a show full of flaws yet it got released. I don't mind a snap-shot taken at any point in the tour but it feels like even more may be on the table now... for better or for worse.
