Re: **Official Huntsville 2022**

I thought this venue was fantastic. Living just south of Nashville, it was so easy to get to. I left halfway through Warehouse, and was on the road 8 minutes later and home by midnight.

This band is having fun. Dave was extra chatty tonight and I heard some songs I wanted to hear. I will definitely be back at this venue for something else.

Great venue, great sound. Two Step and SDL were the only real highlights for me. Kinda disappointed. Hopefully ATL is better.

Had a good time last night. I had never heard Mad Man's Eyes, and the intro completely had me thinking it was a full-blown Last Stop tease. Not sure if I'm the only one that heard that. No real surprises last night, or anything out of the ordinary but I loved the run of songs from Nancies on. Things really picked up and stayed in a classic vein from there aside from She/Sister.

Only real complaint is the three drunk macho idiots in front of me. One threatened to kick my ass, then they acted like they would not let women pass by them without some kind of remark or BS or acting like they weren't going to let them through. Then a fight nearly broke out around the encore. I just dont get drunk idiots. Be nice, people.

Had a blast last night at the show. No complaints from me about the set. Loved the new songs (MME, WATM). The run from SDL-on was phenomenal. Venue was gorgeous

Venue was beautiful and the sound was great, Huntsville has something very special in it. Good luck to them when Widespread Panic comes to town though, I saw plenty of medical attention being needed last night and WSP brings a different type of rowdy. Since it didn't have lawn, Reverb surprised us with floor seats which was unexpected. It wasn't my favorite show set wise, but it wasn't the worst I've been to. Getting a full Two Step was enough to make the show a success for me, I've been chasing that as a newer fan and know they are limited with Carter's age. The band still has a renewed energy post pandemic and it really shines through. Biggest disappointment was missing out on Break For It and Break Free, but surely I'll catch it on one of my 2 night runs in June.

Brandon was much better than Huntsville for the show flow and band energy. Better show. Huntsville venue was just epic, had a great time. Hope they return. Interesting Dave made the UFO/space talk and they didn't play Spaceman.

I had a good time last night. Beautiful venue. It was our 10th show, and we've seen almost every song on the setlist (first time getting Stolen Away though), but it was a good show with a lot of energy.

It's new, so it's pretty to look at. I liked the collisseum feel to it. Size wise it's intimate, not a bad seat in the house and the sound was excellent in there. Convenient place getting in and out with easy parking, potential for great tailgating, and plenty of amenities in the area to pre-game and eat at. Instead of your typical concessions they had a food truck park which I thought was a nice touch.

Different than most other venues I have been to. Has a Greek style feel to the backdrop that is gorgeous to look at. Well worth the trip down.

I also want to say this is my favorite stage design since I’ve been going to shows. Between the band being in a good place and being at the top of their game from a presentation standpoint, if they can fine-tune the set lists a little bit and keep Two Step around, this tour could be a lot of fun. The new songs IMO are worlds better than the Come Tomorrow songs that get played (low bar I know, but still) so I’m hopeful that Come Tomorrow will eventually get the Away From the World treatment live. If you swap out Can’t Stop with Break Free and She with Granny/BOWA, or something of similar length, last night’s set looks way better. Of my 33 shows, last night was probably somewhere in the middle.

That's a nice looking venue. Is the floor all GA? Looks like it sold pretty well.

No. They took the seats out of the first 10 or so rows to make the pit, but outside of the pit, it’s reserved floor seating. And based on everything I saw, it was a legit sell out; capacity is only 8,000 but I’ll gladly claim a sold out show haha.

If I recall correctly the last Alabama show in Pelham 2019 didn’t draw nearly as well. Oak Mountain holds more (approx 10,000), but they probably only drew 6500 the last time they played there.

How was traffic getting out of the venue? I'm going to see MMJ there in September and been curious how well it's already running.

That's right. I was at that show and was monitoring the ticket map on Ticketmaster, etc... sparely populated up top. The lowers at Pelham are hard to beat, those are some epic seats down there. I miss DMB playing that venue. They may not go back with Orion existing now.

Zero traffic. Got in the car, right to the main road, right to interstate. Flows perfectly.

I pre-paid and bought in Lot 2. I got there around 5pm, easy to get in, and a short walk to the venue. I left in the middle of Warehouse, but 8 minutes after walking out the venue I was on the main road. For those who stayed until the encore was over, I don't know how long it took.

The only thing IMO Oak Mountain has going for it is that it’s one of the only venues out there now where there’s no pit, so if you can get lowers in Pelham, there are few better views for DMB. Unfortunately for shorter guys like myself (5’8”) if you’re not in the lower level, at a DMB show where people stand the whole time, the sight line is nonexistent in the 200 levels and above.

If DMB does a fall tour, I wish they would consider the BJCC Arena. I saw John Mulaney there about a month ago, and it’s newly renovated and looks incredible. Would be perfect for a November show.

No lawn, all assigned seating with the exception of the pit. It has a large parking lot at the venue and people did seem to arrive early and do a little tailgating. I'm sure the tailgate scene will get better over time as more people get a feel for the venue and pending any rules banning it.

They even brought the guitar out for Sweet, but Dave waved it off last minute.

I think it was Sister OR The Maker, so they decided Sister.
