I'm sorry to say it, but you really don't know love at age 13. You know the need to be around someone because you really enjoy them. I'm 18 and there have been a couple girls throughout my younger years that I thought I was in "love" with, but in the last year or so I realized I did not know the true meaning or feeling of love that isnt unconditional family or friendship love. In the past 6 months I had a relationship with a great girl that I think I might be in love with, but at the same time, I think a lot of it is the distance and time away factor working, since I was in England all summer and we now go to separate schools 8 hours away.
Take it easy, have fun with the girls, but don't get bogged down into anything too serious. You got a lot to learn. And if you do try to talk to your parents about it now, be sure to listen and not get defensive if they don't say what you want to hear. In the long run, having a good relationship with them will pay off a lot more than having a good relationship with this girl.
