When you say “plenty of guys playing who are every bit as good as him”, do you mean on any given day they can match peaks or hit equal shots or have tournaments that are equivalent to one another?

Tiger’s big advantage when you really dig into it is consistency. He brought it week in week out. His SG at his last peak is 5 or 6 shots better per tournament.

Shot for shot and peak for peak I don’t think there is much difference on TV. I know I experience that in real life. Scratch in our group doesn’t kick my ass, but when we turn our cars in I’m 6 shots behind.

As a TV product he’s unbeatable. Magnetic, dramatic, etc. I enjoy watching a lot of the current guys, but in a lot of ways it is just an Homage to the Cat.

I don't know if Tiger necessarily brought it every week in terms of playing his best or anything like that. I think his C game could win most tournaments at the time, he said as much which was perceived as arrogance but was honesty.

What’s your C game if you’re SG per year is 3? You’re still gaining 6 to 8 strokes on the field which is going to put you in contention.

Didn’t he make some ridiculous number or cuts in a row?

Just like skiing, golf is much better under the lights. Done a ton of night skiing, no chance I get to ever play anything but a round of putt putt after dark.

Probably picking daytime for both BUT hitting flat light when you're ski racing is pretty sketchy, love watching FIS slalom under the lights

I like skiing bumps, always found it was easier in the night time.

Even though I mentioned personal experiences, I was mostly speaking of the viewing aspect. I like watching skiing at night vs daylight…and even though there’s not much other than The Match, I dig golf under the lights!
