The Last of the Mohicans which is finally free on Amazon Prime. I've seen it a million times and it's great. This is a hill I will die on.

    His House (5/10)
Strong performances from the two leads, but it relied way too much on jump scares. Was hoping for more suspense.

I might have to revisit it. I think I've only seen parts of it very long ago.

Just finished it. I expected it to be bad, but I'm shocked that a project featuring Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Anthony Mackie, Brian Tyree Henry, and Wyatt Russell could be THAT bad.

    ^always a good one

Watching Operation Dumbo Drop Saw it on Disney+ and it felt like one of those dumb C-list 90s movies I remembered as a kid. Decent cast! Definite nostalgia moments.

Reading about it right now though it turns out the elephant from the movie just died in the past couple weeks

How bad could the original edit of that movie have been?

Is it better or worse than Cats?

I can't say it's better than Cats, but I can say that I'd be more likely to watch Cats again. There's something to be said for being laughably bad.

I bet the problem wasn't the original edit, but test audiences wanting things wrapped up in a neat bow.

Haven't watched it yet. Bunch of movies to get to first.

    Open Range

I've owned the DVD since the early 2000's when it first came out and decided to revisit it last night. It's just a good western. Not like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly or Unforgiven, but captures a western feel very well on the more emotional side.

Genuine lol at how old ben platt looks in the dear evan hanson trailer. But I guess when your rich hollywood exec dad is literally producing the movie, you can be sure they won’t recast the role

There are facial expressions that Grodin made towards a Saint Bernard that will stick with me for the rest of my life. No one was better at playing someone who’s perpetually annoyed.
