I doubt the people who aren’t getting the vaccine are going to be the ones willingly wearing the mask. They just aren’t going to wear them no matter what the rules are. So pretty soon the majority of the country is going to be maskless unless you’re on a flight or something

My son felt terrible today after his 2nd shot. All he had today was 2 gatorades and a small bowl of dry cheerios. In bed most of the day but is now up and moving around. Says he should be good for golf tomorrow afternoon...atta boy!

Publix lifted their mask restriction for anyone who is vaccinated. Made a quick run up there just a little bit ago and didn't wear mine just to test it out. I think I was the only one in the store not wearing one.

It felt weird, but it's going to for a while after wearing masks for over a year. Bottom line is, I know I'm safe and not a danger to others, which is the entire reason I got vaccinated in the first place. Normalcy is around the corner!

I don't think our city has dropped the mask mandate yet. SO even if we went to a mandate-less store I think by city ordinance we're still supposed to be wearing one.

Our county is only around 30-40% vaccinated so I'm in the camp it's too early here, but whatever, vaccine is available. It's on people's personal responsibility at this point.

Same, but I don’t think removing the mandate here would make a difference because most people still wear it outside, and we don’t have an outdoor mask mandate lol

Same around my area, most people are still being mindful of wearing one out in public indoor spaces.

I stopped wearing a mask when I went into the office. There's only 2 outta our 50+ employees who aren't vaccinated that I see on a regular basis. Both are 45+. I feel no sympathy for their ignorance and hesitance.

Spent the weekend at work without a mask on at work for the first time in ages. It was a surreal experience. Also had a small birthday gathering for a couple of friends, that was fun and awesome.

I understand the reluctance to stop wearing masks, but it really is time to stop worrying about those who clearly don’t give a shit about their own health. At this point, anyone who is vaccinated isn’t going to get seriously ill or die from Covid, and they aren’t going to spread it. And anyone who isn’t vaccinated at this point clearly doesn’t want to. So I’m done looking out for them. Otherwise, what was all this for? Why did we get vaccinated?

With my autoimmune disease and other health issues I have, my doctor said he thinks for now I should keep wearing it indoors places, like work and like stores and shit.

Fine by me, I don’t just want a watered down version of covid I’d like to not have covid at all. The long term effects still scare me and just having immune issues is still concerning.

While I agree with your overall point, realize that it can take up to 6 weeks from your first shot to be fully vaccinated so the bolded is not quite correct. Go back 6 weeks and in may parts of the county you could not just get the vaccine whenever you wanted.

I’m not talking about people who have already had one shot. Clearly they want to be vaccinated.
