Check out his solo work, which is absolutely outstanding. Lots of good stuff, but his solo debut 'Fade Away Diamond Time' is the gem of the lot, IMO. Not a weak song on that record.

So sad to hear he passed, incredible talent.

I haven't stopped listening either (it's really just shuffled into a few thousand songs in my car).

I never turn it off when it comes on in a playlist shuffle, but I can't say I've intentionally put on my RA playlist in quite a while. Ruston Kelly has filled that void this year (obviously not extensive-discography-wise, but tonally and musically).

I was particularly fond of his breakup songs, but I just can't hear those the same way anymore, given what has come out about him.

Am I Safe, for example. Probably my favorite song of his. Now when I hear it, I feel like he's worried if he breaks up with some underage girl that she'll turn him in. Woof.

Yea I was never a huge Ryan Adams fan by any means but I heard his cover of the Grateful Dead’s Wharf Rat for the first time while scrolling through Utube. One of the better Dead covers I’ve heard.

Yeah its called Wednesdays. Several people in Australia have been listening or using VPN and listening on youtube. It is supposed to be global on 12/11

I get 29/slower songs from Cardinology vibes from this one. I really like those albums but nothing stands out here after 2 listens. I think all the bangers are on Big Colors. Hopefully he releases it early next year.

Giving it a D for melody is being ridiculously generous. That's the most glaring detail that's missing from this album. I kept waiting and waiting for some of those melodies we love so much from him and they never came.
