    Hey everyone, newcomer to this venue. Excited to check out Dayton. For, previous concert goers, would you say the sections 221 with lower rows would be a great seat? I’m not in the mood for pit but I would like to have a good, closer view. If not, what would you recommend?.

    It’s up there in terms of smaller venues but they’ve been playing smaller places mid-week for a little while now. Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it for them to do so but I figure it offsets a lot of expenses to just stop and put in a day of work on the way from
    Chicago to NYC that they were going to incur anyway.

    FWIW think the Jacksonville venue this year has 5000 capacity. They played 2 nights there.

    There’s not much to do on that side of 675. On the other side there’s a lot of places to eat/drink, but definitely don’t walk there.

    Other than that, there’s not really a whole lot to do in that area, or Dayton in general.

    United center -> nutter center -> msg. Such a jarring difference in venues I hope it encourages something special to happen. I bet Dave voice is kicked by the time they hit nyc.

    I ended up using rewards points at the UD Marriott. My wife said she wouldn’t cross the bridge so we are driving anyways

    Not at all. It’s about a mile away from campus, and there’s a large woods between them. It’s just a big concrete building in the middle of a huge parking lot. Very little to do within walking distance.
