Hidden track after You and Me is very reminiscent of...

...the run-out groove audio at the end of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, IMHO. Very circular and repetitive, and ultimately hypnotic once you get in to it.

In addition to it being a nice final nod to Roi, I think it's also a nice homage to one of the album's clear musical influences.

Thoughts?

I agree with what you said I just kind of got used to it hearing it and got in the rhythm of it and then it was gone...kind of like it seemed like things were with LeRoi things were starting to go well for him and then unexpectedly he's just gone.

Really enjoyed the final song/hidden song with Roi. So many interpetations you can get out of it. The fact that it sounds like it's on a loop and then just ends. Reminds me a bit of #34 (and it's a great nod if the rumors about this being #35 are true)

Have you heard this through the Pandora rips? I can't find them anywhere. How do the drums sound on You and Me?

The end of Srgt Pepper? Srgt Pepper ends with A Day In A Life, then fades out. Then a high pitch noise that only dogs can hear plays (John's doing) with finally a bunch of few seconds of out takes thrown together that circle around in utter madness and that fades quickly (which originally was made for certain record players so that would accidentally repeat it continuously).

The outro of BWGK is like that? That would be extremely odd of DMB to do that.

Glad it ended with Roi, and I like the above interpretations, but i still wish it had been a little more. Surely there were other little riffs lying around besides those seven notes over and over.

Very cool if indeed it was titled #35, however.

I agree, although I was thinking it sounded more like the outro of Strawberry Fields, but along those same lines.

ok, how weird is it that after i was just finished listening to the end of Big Whisky (with headphones) and reading these threads, all of a sudden my neighbor is playing "A day in the Life". It kinda just gave me goosebumps. eeerie...
