Bruce - I second having this dude on the show if you do a Roi centered episode. Would be awesome.

It kind of blows me away that in 2019, especially considering the state of the band, there are people interested in making and listening to DMB podcasts ?

Really? There are literally millions of podcasts online. I would be shocked if there were less than 2 different podcasts on any major band headlining a world tour right now, regardless of how relevant you think they still are.

Look, You Need To Calm Down is good but not “lose your voice for a few days” good. It’s not Me!

It's pretty common sense to me. You have a large established fan base, combine that with big changes in the last few years and near constant touring (set lists, sound, etc.) = content. So yeah there's plenty to talk about and plenty of people to listen.

Just finished the second episode. I'm really loving how you sprinkle in 30 seconds or so of audio highlights through the podcast. A lot of us don't have the time or want to put in the effort to download tapes from each show. A suggestion, with respect to the this day in DMB history segment, might be cool to read the road crew notes to the extent available. Also, that setlist from Germain is so good.

Edit: Fun fact, Germain amp is where the band debuted SUAD, Grey Street, and JTR in mid June of 2000, almost 19 years ago today.

I liked episode 1! Great stuff. If y'all are noobs, I'm a tiny baby (first show in 2013). I'll be subbing and downloading episode 2 as soon as I get on wifi.

We’d like for them to come out on Mondays honestly but that’s not going to happen so we will shoot for Tuesdays. It absolutely depends on our own and the tour schedule. Sorry we can’t be completely reliable haha

enjoying the podcast quite a bit so far! appreciate the highlight clips for sure

i haven't listened to it in a while but i vividly remember getting those polaris ampitheatre versions of grey street, raven, jtr, and suad (i think they were all from the 6/20/00 show) off napster that summer and basking in absolute peak dmb fandom (still riding the btcs wave, luther college, charlie rose show, listener supported, and now these unbelievable new songs all packed into a pretty dense timeline) until the everyday comedown...that particular show really represents a magical moment in time for me as a fan, not just because of the songs swirling around but because everything felt so mysterious and elusive before everything went so extremely online
