Plz help me find best versions of these songs.

I was wondering what are the best live versions of #40, Halloween, Minaretes, and Blue Water Baboon Farm(I already have the Big Chew concert). I have all their live and studio CD's but I was just wondering what your favorite versions are because my friend said he would download a few shows for me and I would really like great versions of those songs. Thanks for your help in advance.

Well I'll tell you that the 11.17.02 version of Minarets--> Blue Water is the best EVER! Also check out the 5.10.95 of #40. Its full length, but I still like Listener Supported lyrics the best.

if you already have 3.23.93 then you have the best verision of blue water

Best Halloweens are 9/8/02 and 12/31/92 in my opinion. Both are very intense. I'm a big fan of any Minarets from 94 or 03. I really like 8/7/03 Minarets and the 2/4/94 versions. I still think that Big League Chew's Blue Water is the best. As far as #40 goes, I really like the 5/10/95 version as well as the 4/7/95 version. Hope my opinions help you out.

12.31.02 Kind of awesome show. Blue Water and Halloween are especially good.

I am a big fan of Minarets from the Irving Plaza show in NY... don't remember the date (sometime in 1993 for sure). Dave makes a comment afterwards about getting carried away.

Halloween depends on how you like that song, 1/26/93 is amazing, but that's just my opinion, it's the slower version of the song.

my favorite blue water is 3/29/04 is dave and tim and my other favorite blue water is 9/11/92 it doesnt say it on the setlist in ants but it is it only dave though

Is the site down because I cant find a single date you guys have given me that is downloadable, I checked other dates too, and well, dont see a single show that is possible to download. I guess it could be my computer. Also I'll be sure to check the Dave and Tim Blue Water, ever sinse my friend downloaded the Big League Chew I cant get enough of that song, Boyd is so amazing in it.

even though you already have them, the #40 on listener supported and the halloween on the gorge are pretty bad as....

I'd say the last Gorge show in '02 for Halloween (I believe it was 9/8/02).

Picking out a live version of Minarets now, though only from what I have access to at the moment (mostly Live Trax releases). The 8/29/00 version from SPAC on LT 11 (also on Warehouse 5 Vol 3) is great. I'm leaning towards liking the LT 7 version from 12/31/96 better though...with Bela, The Flecktones, Victor, Paul, Future Man. Great song, always loved it since hearing it on Remember Two Things. The LT30 version (8/17/93) is also solid. They really had this song dialed in early.

The song/performance itself is pretty terrible but that Everyday fake >> Halloween is very, very fun.
