The topic was “Republicanism is mainstreaming anti-LGBTQ views”. Which is true - with 500 pieces of legislation YTD to back it up, along with a rise in violence against these communities.

GOP Reality: So concerned about this group that you amplify the perception of them almost exponentially.

The Twitterfication of society, media, exposure used to be kind of funny to me. Now it's becoming annoying because you actually begin to encounter these folks in real life who through whatever they think their good intentions are poison the well for everyone. What's funny is, to some degree, I get it. But it used to be (or at least the perception was) that you kept it to yourself and controlled your own reality, home, etc. Now, we have to police everyone. And that's even, arguably, bipartisan now.

I assume that is about as good as it gets in 2023. Definitely better than the Dayton show last fall.

I’d give it a C+. Wouldn’t spend 100s of dollars for a good seat, but a perfectly ok night in the lawn.

Self-identification of US adults being part of the LGBTQ community stands at 7.2% (and, for obvious reasons, that is likely understated quite a bit).

They’re too hard to keep track of at this point, and it’s been made painfully clear by the Republicans in government that the intent is to do nothing and this is the price of freedom in America.

Outside of maybe IBYU or Last Stop (probably truncated), if you’ve been to more than a handful of DMB shows, it is almost a guarantee you’ll have already heard any worthwhile song they pull out after 10:15pm or so.

No need to wait for Jimi, just check the time and make your exit accordingly.
