Yea i kinda hate the franchise tag since i think it is un-american but its really rough for these guys to ruin franchises. Not every person is Rose and got drafted by their favorite team growing up in a huge market. We got insanely lucky on that. Its amazing that Durant loves OKC so much

I think the layoff is good for the team, gives them a little while to get some of their injured men a little time off and also it may cool down the Heat a little and take their momentum.

Not to me, the guy doesn't like the spotlight I think it's perfect for him. The only thing that sucks about him being such a soft spoken good all around guy is that he will most likely have a hall of fame career and we won't here about it and see like we should.

I was more talking the layoff between the series (after the Celtics beat the Knicks). This little layoff I think will do them good, especially for the reasons you listed.

Dallas almost lost 4 in a row once, they won the first 3, then lost the next 3 to Portland, before squeeking out the win.
