okay the water thing, or whatever other beverage, I think of that as a whole different animal. That's plenty common, I've known people where they regularly have a glass of water by the nightstand just cause you have that parched throat feeling when you wake up, no matter what time it may be.
I'm also realizing though the snacking thing for me (& not that I do it all the time, not hardly), an element that can't be discounted is that I simply happen to wake up often multiple times during the night to have to go to the bathroom. I rarely ever get as much as 5 or more consecutive hours of sleep, I WISH I did. And no, it's not because of a prostate problem
I think it's more just a side affect of some medications I have to take. But while I may wake up often, I'm usually able to fall back under fairly quickly. It also always takes me forever to initially fall asleep. I'm the dead opposite of my brother-in-law, I swear that fucker can fall asleep in no time wherever he happens to be
