Dave owes Nashville (and me) a good set this year after their last debacle.

Yes hopefully we get something more like the 2009 Vandy show as opposed to 2019.

    Re: ***Official Nashville 2023***

I'm glad to finally have a show close to home again that I can experience with friends. Looking back on 2019, it was rough. At the time, it started this crazy Fandom I have for the band, so it's kind of special.

Of course I'm out of town for work

Has to be a better set than the last time they were here.

It's just a bummer we don't have a big outdoor venue here for them to play. Inside is boring.

Think I'm gonna try to hit this one. Kinda nervous it'll suck after the awful show 2019 was.

This will be my first show since 2015. Pit or bust! Any info on when/where I can find pricing info?

    What happened in 2019?

And I had no idea Starwood closed. I was there in 2004 and that was a great show. We went to Deer Creek last year, but Nashville is about equadistant. Kind of interested in this one cuz of Jeff's home connection and the indoor atmosphere.

I mean....5,6,7,8 is a good run. And 10,11,12,13 is also a good run. Doesn't look awful.

Just thought I’d throw it out there… but Bela doesn’t have any dates booked in the later half of May…. Could the pickn’ king make an appearance? Only time will tell….

The set was meh at best. But the band's energy was dead. Completely mailed it in. The Nashville 2009 set is bland as hell but it's among my top shows in terms of energy I've seen from the band.

There was a lot of unmet expectations. Friday night. Nashville: Music City. Jeff's hometown. First Nashville show in a decade.

Dave got a legit talking to by someone (mgmt?) about the setlist after the fact because the DMB fanbase burned social media down, including that of band members, after the show. True story - check the show thread. People were maaaaaad. The next show got a ton of great TDs and a very nice set, which I am jealous of.

Nashville 2019 is one of the worst DMB shows I have seen, easily.

I think I might now have the shortest distance in the history of anyone traveling to a DMB show considering my apartment is right across the street from Bridgestone lol

Still can’t believe how good that Des Moines, Iowa set was after making the trip to Nashville. FishTender, So Right, Recently, Typical Situation, The Stone lol

As bad as Nashville 2019 was, nothing has come close to being as bad as Southaven 2013. I still shudder at the thought of how garbage that show was.

From Iowa originally...Had friends fly down for Nashville and then fly home in time for Des Moines. Minds were blown.

None of them are coming for Nashville this year

Put in for Southhaven and Nashville this year with them skipping Denver. This Colorado boy doesn't make it east very often and Memphis and Nashville seem like as good as any reason to go that way.

How was the pit for this show in 2019? I normally don't mess with the pit, but I was thinking of treating myself since it's so close to home.
