Steady As We Go with the SNL Sax player was a highlight for me. I've always had a soft spot for that song. Only have hard it twice including last night and I absolutely loved it. Glad you had it on there.

thats what im thinking. can see the NE at the end and maybe the A. Other option was the Stone but dont think it was that, or at least dont want to think it was that

AND you did it with some people changing their openers (maybe even song 2, or song 2-4) after the Minneapolis show had already started...because the picks didn't lock until 2 songs in.

Um I did cover the tour debuts (FTT, BEF, Raven) and songs played for only 2nd time all tour (at the time) sorry if I don’t drool over songs I’ve heard at like 40% of my shows? Lol.

I don’t like covers generally - the maker and Rye Whiskey are the only two I favor. Needle / damage done too. These aren’t overplayed, night after night for entire tours like sexy MF or Fly like an Eagle. I’ve even argued DMB’s rendition of Watchtower is one of the worst.

Just keep in mind when you have a knee jerk reaction to someone’s “opinion” the spirit is in the different POV’s. This would be pointless if we all repeated the same crap. You ppl act like I listed sam cop WITHOUT first mentioning Raven, Bartender, What you are, a liberation in Fool / Thnk, so jeeeez just relax. I heard #41 at 5 of 6 shows this year. So no, I don’t list it as a standout. Maybe you only heard it 1x this year. ‘Get it?’

Songs like Shake Me and Jimi/ Cornbread are totally ok with the above songs.

Perspective is all the difference.
Lots of ppl admitted that not only was N1 msg bad, but the fall tour itself was subpar. I prefer to see two GREAT shows in a row at a 2-nite stand, not 1 awful show followed by 1 great set.

Point is you can make the case msg n2 was better than either night in Camden. My point was in totality, Camden’s two shows were better than MSG’s two shows.

Thats why I excluded the duplicates played at both stands (two step, warehouse, etc.) remove the dups, evaluate what’s left over, doesn’t that provide the true “difference” between the tour stops?

I can only speak for recent history, but I thought 2018 was worse than this year by quite a bit.

I think the poster was referring to the '22 fall tour not the '22 summer tour, could be wrong, '22 summer tour is easily better than that of '18
