On a hike in Rock Creek Park w/ the family today and I was talking to my wife about how it always seems like you miss something by mere minutes. About 20 mins later I check the WH boards and there's a pair of N1s up for sale and one of our regs has the line on them. Missed by that much...

No regrets, though, awesome family hike, came home, made some awesome chili, and am settling down before crashing for work tomorrow. Something'll work out, but we're just hoping to be done w/ the search ASAP so we can just wait for the summer.

If there's one thing that works best in your quest, it's patience.

I have been seeing DMB at SPAC since 1996 and I've been in first row and last row, but I've nver paid a penny more than face. Sometimes, its really close but eventually trading season tightens up and people want their money

We've been seeing them there since '94, BUT we took a big break after '98...until 2017 w/ D&T. But yes, we know patience is the key...WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG?!?!!

Used to be you could wait on drops, now they drop $275 platinum balcony tickets. Used to be you could buy them on the boards in the lead up to show,now, they're trade bait until Wednesday night before show.

I hate this time of year - I'll trade you last 4 rows of SPAC West Palm pit.

And honestly it pisses me off.

Here's my advice.... be a player/ helper. It'll come to you... you're doing fine.

It's rough seeing the trade threads where folks have several pairs for each night that they're looking to use to upgrade. We get it though.

We just want tix (like everyone else) and accept that we're not getting real lowers (sects 1-5, or even 6 or 7). We hit the jackpot w/ N2 last year, so we're willing to wait for any of that type of fortune to come around again.

Good luck to everyone on their given quests. Looking forward to the summer.

Yeah, we've done it before. I'm just being uber American...I want stuff, but I don't really want to put in the effort to get it.

I've already missed out on two sales. Got my cashortrade alerts set and am scouring the WH and ants tix threads. I know it's early in the game...

Not being independently wealthy isn't all it's cracked up to be...

Yep. It is - but when you put a finite cap on what you can sell them for (which I support, to avoid scalping), this is the inevitable outcome. They're a more valuable trade piece, given certain venues (SPAC especially) than they are as a sellable commodity, especially in the short term. Given the demand, you can absolutely hang on to these tickets until showtime and get your money back, so there's no rush - better to try the trade route first.

Meanwhile, those of us with no tradeable commodities are stuck in limbo with tickets to one show, a 16 hour round trip drive, and no idea what's going on for night two.

Still better than being put over a barrel for $400 a ticket though.

Don't hold these for me, but there is a chance I may do this trade if they are still available in the future. I have a section 16H pair for N1 and I need a n2 pair for a friend, but I think for now we may be looking to get a bit closer to the stage or closer to the front of the balcony.

Its in a great state park, It's very intimate, with a balcony, so you're right on top of the band. They have played some legendary shows at this place.

Sadly,I believe he just chooses setlist C for these shows now
