And that's fine if you feel that way, but I feel like a 'deal' on shipping shouldn't be 36% of the total. Their normal shipping rates are insane. It's just that I won't order a physical copy when I can get the digital copy for $7 less.

I think in general, people have been spoiled by things like Amazon prime. Things like that have set unrealistic expectations for all retailers

I dont think so at all. Musictoday's shipping prices are absurd compared to anything else you buy.

I think that's ultimately their goal.

I don't buy much outside of music there, and since we're talking about a CD in this thread, I merely offer my opinion that $4.75 isn't an unreasonable amount of money.

Same here, got the t-shirt bundle with $5 shipping, had a choice to buy or not to buy, and $5 shipping is fine with me

Why is there not a vinyl release? Why are they only releasing this on CD and digital? This is unfair! What about the percentage of the fanbase that listens to vinyl?

Is anyone else emailing the Warehouse over this? This is ridiculous that they would alienate a portion of their fanbase like this.

I'm with you. I don't really consider anything anymore unless A. I was there or B. if it's pre-2006 or so. I'm sure there are some exceptions I'd consider, but that's generally what interests me anymore.

And I think this is only the second release of a show I was at, so there's that.

Agree... that show has been around the top of my most wanted releases for a really long time but I'm stoked for any '04 and this is another great one.

I wanted to see the difference/common songs between this show and the selected Atlanta show. Interesting... (excuse any potential errors, though I don't think there are any but Friday night drinking!)

    Common songs:

    DDTW
    Sugar Will
    Hello Again
    GGT
    Crazy Easy
    Joyride
    WTWE

    LT 43:

Listened to both. Attended one. Atlanta show had more unique and much better performances.

Can you guess which one I attended?

Out of LT2, LT8 and LT43 (let's for now consider the tape in this question), which is the better show? Without listening to tapes, much less this one, I'm going to go out on a limb and presumptuously say LT2 is the best '04 show we have. Because of Carlos Santana on Warehouse, Sugar Will and AATW. Unless this Good Good Time blows me away, and I know I already love Good Good Time.

all three are very strong, makes one wonder why we don't have more from 04

This is the last great year of the band IMO. 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2013 had a handful of fantastic runs of shows but I feel like 2004 is the last year where all the shows are great

On paper, SPAC is a better set in terms of non-stop quality material. But it also doesn't give us anything we don't have yet, and that's where Atlanta shines. LT 43 gives us the only Captain of the our, our first 2004 Two Step, first 2004 I Did It (and a first for the LT series overall), and a super cool outro jam bookending the show with the opener.

That SPAC show should absolutely be released one day. The song comparisons are nice to look at, since the SPAC show would still give everyone the new songs they like, yet still blow us away with the rest of the set. The songs that ATL doesn't have and SPAC does, are straight fire. That Captain, Warehouse, Bartender, Drive in Drive Out and One Sweet World though...

I can appreciate the completest outlook in getting material we don't have. For me, that's not enough in choosing one show over the other. I know that means a lot to people and that makes sense. It's cool to get a full catalog of the band's material. When I put on that SPAC show, it's goosebumps from the gate and that's what I want from a show. The first four songs on LT 43 are meh to me when they are piled together like that. I feel like I have I Did It PTSD from back in the day since that's the first DMB I loathed. The SPAC show doesn't have a dull moment.

I know I am being overly critical of the new LT and I don't know why I can't get hyped for it. This is me hitting myself over the head telling myself to stop

Really looking forward to this one. 2004 is up there with 2000 and 1998 as my favorite years for dmb. I'm down for as much from those years as possible. Maybe we get the SPAC 04 show as LT 50 or something.
